I love both the bikes. Both bikes have their own advantages. But, Himalayan need to have tubeless Tyre option too. I'm sure many riders will opt for Himalayan if it had tubeless Tyre & a 6th gear. Meteor is great & comfortable, but missing a good suspension. And currently an Adventure Tourer is more suited to our Indian roads.

Better we have Meteor...because Himalyan is exclusively an off road bike hence can't be used frequently at home. Rather Meteor is best suited for cruise and can be used frequently in routine at home unlike the Himalyan bike which is almost useless when at home...So the meteor is best for dual role and Himalyan is unique in off road /adventure only.......

i myself test rode both of them same time, both were powerful , but yes plus n minus in both i felt..the most striking part for me was that meteor has a awwesome riding posture, u just feel as if sitting like a damn king, with wide handle bars and makes u sit straight, but no stress in sitting at all, u feel u can sit like that forever, nice seat too, thats the main thing u want in long tours, while in himalayan ,YES it is TALL, though i,m almost 6 feet, the best part abt it was the suspension is so superb that those big potholes ,for which u would slow down ur normal bike so doesnt hurt ur butts u just fly on them without a second thought, as if they were damn tiny ones, the irritating part i felt was the posture i felt caged in because of the huge difference in the pillion seat height , whenever u feel like pushing ur butts behind a little on the seat to change ur sitting posture, u just couldnt because the backseat is at such a height i just kept coming in front again...

Well both the RE Himalayan and metro 350 very good touring bike's. For city use as well as the highway touring the meteor is the one to go. Its has a very low seat height that makes it an easy, comfortable bike to ride in the city and relaxed riding on Long distance. Where the Himalayan is very adventure bike. It has the ability to go off road compared to the meteor. That makes it more special.❤️😍👍👍 Very nice comparison video.❤️👍👍 Is their will be a review on the ktm 250 adventure?

So GearFliQ is trying to shift people from Meteor 350 to Himalayan for Off-road. I own a meteor 350 and to be honest this bike rocks offroad because of its seating position you don't feel the bumps at all. lose the suspension for offroad and tight it for on-road simple as that. you can also change the tires to offroad ones for better grip offroad.
