Most people who go into psych have issues. Usually trying to learn how to defend or help themselves or those around them. But I’m not sure Lainey will ever call Greg a sociopath or a narcissist (which he definitely is, the second one at least) because she had been with him since she was so very young. It made me insecure as a preteen when I first saw that video and repzion empowered me by making me accept my imperfections and not seeing them as something I shouldn’t have. I actually read his book, Stones to Abbigail (referred to as STA for the remainder of this comment) or whatever it’s called. The book is, as I consider it, the worst thing I have read in 2018. To give you a time frame, it took me 3 weeks to read this 115 page book, and within those 3 weeks I managed to read Seige and Storm, and Ruin and Rising, by Leigh Bardguo (two books I didn’t enjoy) before I finished STA. Both books are well over 300 pages each. Strange Aeons pretty much hit the nail on the head with her review, except she didn’t talk too much on the structure of the plot or writing itself, which deserve separate videos on their own. The characters were unbelievable, and as an author, Greg should be able to separate his personal life from what he declared HIMSELF as a piece of fiction with elements of truth mixed in. When you are pathetic enough to bitch about other people for reviewing YOUR BOOK, something you PUBLISHED FOR THE WORLD TO READ, you know it’s time to grow a thicker skin. I’ll do a review video on my bookish channel about STA, but just so I can bitch about the author and his shitty reactions to valid criticism (something I won’t be able to do in the video due to appearing professional or whatever) I would like to say that you can’t demonise a reviewer just because you don’t like what they said. When you are as popular as Greg is, or rather, infamous would be best suiting, you must expect negative reviews, and as an AUTHOR, you should find the value in such critiques. Instead, he finds ways to make her out to be a horrible person, mentioning the fact she mocked Davis (a detestable, one-dimensional character) despite him being based on his dead best friend. Regardless of which parts are based on reality, and which are false, the review was talking about the content presented, which was poorly written. In the end, it doesn’t matter if it based on tragedies that happened in Greg's life, they are included in works of FICTION and if he didn’t want people to critique his book, he shouldn’t have fucking published it then. Maybe get off your ass to earn the money you're losing instead of whining about how much Strange Aeons made off of a video, perhaps then you’ll have some sense of reality, you prick.
