Pros 👍🏻 - Smooth parallel Twin Engine (Unbeatable at this price point ) 👍🏻 - Very affordable to maintain & service 👍🏻 - Strong Service Network Cons 👎🏻 - RE are known for it's unreliability ( Owned an RE for an year, got stranded for at least 10 - 15 times as the bike broke down left me stranded in middle of nowhere ) - finally had to sell it. 👎🏻 - Tube Tyres ( In 2021 ) 👎🏻- Outdated Intrument cluster , headlights , turn indicators 👎🏻 - Heavy Weight ( Not comfortable for city ride ) 👎🏻 - Poor cushioned seat ( need an after market for sure ) 👎🏻 - High speed wobbling issue ( Very Risky & Major defect ) 👎🏻 - Very low suspension Travel (110mm front / 80mm Rear ) - bottom out very easily. ( not suitable for bigger bumps & pot holes ) 👎🏻 - Over all build quality is not up to mark , all RE bikes starts to Detroit within an year after sales Above thoughts are subjective, many may agree or disagree, but in my perspective & ownership experience RE need to work more upon their flagship bikes. The rake seems too small. Should be 28deg. I think they need much greater range too .. 500km.

I am an owner of 2021 interceptor. I was really unhappy about the front end feel as the suspension are set very soft that causes the handlebars to wobble as even the tiniest bumps unsettle it. I am currently using YSS front springs and Pirelli Scorpion 110/80 on the front and 150/60 on the rear. Now I can say the wobbling issue has been completely resolved.

Does stock front suspension bottom out on bad roads? i currently have UG domi so scared to back to telescopic suspension from USD

@@dewangpatilStock one's yes. It's more about getting your compression and rebound settings correct rather than the type of forks. So, my forks could be tuned based on the tarmac so that they don't bottom out at all. Dominar has good forks in the front. If you don't want to jump potholes at 100kph then you need not change it at all.

Replace stock fork oil with 10W fork oil & wobbling will be gone. The OEM form oil is too thin which causes the wobble.

Interceptor have brembo brake pads by stock if we want more braking then we have to go for ebc but they are on the expensive side than the stock ones

Hello Ayush, very nice review and thank you for the live 0-60 and 100. It does prove that the RE 650 can preform at higher speeds. The bike is an excellent commuter and weekend rider. It can be compared to the Triumph T Series but not the Thruxton. As for the Chrome Tank yes it is an eye catcher.

The stock brake pads are brembos. Even the disc is brembo. Only the caliper is bybre. Which is also a brembo subsidiary

@anirudh Dohc is more suitable for power in higher rpms. Dohc suits for retro cruisers and higher torque at lower rpms. Increasing compression ratio increases heat emitted along with higher power.
