Did you know that sunflower is not A SINGLE flower? It's an inflorescence, every single dot in the disc shaped bit is a flower with its own reproductive structures, and the flowers on the edge are infertile and were modified during the course of evolution to look like petals. BIOLOGY IS AWESOME.

this is really, really random. But there is something special about Carrie's eyes that I can't quite explain. I've never in my life felt so protected and warm like when I met carrie, she held my shaking hands and looked me straight in the eye and I just felt calm and like I was in safe hands (literally) and whilst watching this video I got that sensation again. Those deep brown lovely big eyes has a quality I probably will never explain, but I hope to get to look into those eyes at least once more.

Hi Carrie, I know it seems to be quite common for performers to do their own on-stage makeup (even in leading roles) and was wondering how casting directors know that someone is going to be good at their makeup and if you are given any guidelines or tutorials for how to do your makeup for a certain part like Wednesday for example who has a very specific look. hi! i've been in quite a few (amateur) musicals, so i can answer this question for you! every production has a makeup artist who is responsible for designing all the makeup looks for characters- they're just like a costume designer but with makeup. Then the makeup artist will teach each cast member how to do their specific look(s). From then on out the actor is responsible for recreating that artist's design every night. the actor doesn't actually have any say in what their character's makeup looks like unless they're like allergic to a product or something.

I started watching your videos when I started college in 2011. I actually heard your song "Running Through Rivers," bought it on iTunes, then started watching your channel. It's still one of my favorite songs, actually. I'm about a month younger than you, and I've always enjoyed seeing how much someone my age could do and accomplish and how kind you are and just everything. I've been enjoying reading the comments on this about how long everyone has been around. My one is old old. I used to be "friends" with you on Myspace where you uploaded original songs. My sister and I loved them so much we recorded them to our mp3 player. I was there when you first got Twitter (although I didn't get the hang of it) and when you first started KZbin with videos of you sitting on a couch in a sunny room singing songs with a guy on guitar. I've been watching you for the last four years and it's been an absolute pleasure maturing alongside you! Carrie, I'm an American expat, writer and travel vlogger living in St. Petersburg. I've been watching your videos for what feels like a million years and love them - I HIGHLY recommend coming to see the Winter Palace, it never gets old! But even more than that, go see Catherine Palace in Pushkin, about 30 minutes outside of the city - that was a favorite summer destination of the Romanovs!

Before I started watching your videos, I had a very easy plan to what my life was going to be like- GCSEs, A-levels, a degree, and a job in book publishing / journalism. But thanks to your videos, I've decided to chase my dream I've had since I was 6- I want to perform on a West End Stage.
