EVERYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING CAT-CON REMOVAL, please don't. I considered the removal. After research i realized the increased back pressure will obviously remove the mileage and CAN AFFECT THE ENGINE VALVES IN THE LONG TERM. So, think twice before doing it. It's not just about pollution and Challan it's about your bike's health. Don't ruin it for the cheap thrill of a loud exhaust note

Brother back pressure will not increase . Instead it will decrease . Moreover it is equivalent as you said it will affect the valve tension. Yes it will . But for a very low pressure change will occur and its okay , it will not create much of a problem in long run too

you do not have understanding how it works. CAT is just for pollution control, and it weakens the bike performance, and it creates too much heat. CAT is need for cars but not for motorbikes. remove that crap and enjoy your ride.

This will increase the power, sound and will not affect engine in a very negetive way

After removing Cat it’s affect on Performance and The main purpose of Catalytic converter is to convert Harmful gas into harmless gases

If you remove the catalytic converter, it messes with the back pressure. It will definitely increase the sound but along with extra pollution and mileage drop, it will affect your engine valves in the long term. I once considered removing my meteor's cat-con then i did some research and realized the cheap thrill of getting a louder sound will ultimately affect my bike's engine. Go for some good legal exhaust or performance exhaust without removing the Catalytic Converter
