I've never really been into retro hardware, but your videos are super interesting lol!

I'm drooling over the selection of both old and new components and the network equipment, it's probably a good thing I'm on a different continent so I can't throw all my monry at it, haha! Also, I hope it's not weird to say, but you've got such a nice narration voice!

I'd love to explore the place myself! Shame I'm nowhere nearby. BTW the movement and slight choppiness was a little nauseating, although I'm aware not everyone will be affected by it. The slight choppiness should be fixed if you can lock your shutter speed to 1/120 for 60fps... it looks like the camera is using too fast a shutter speed.

I'll have to look into that in future. I just whipped out my phone and wandered around the store for this one. I should also get one of those carrying stalks to smooth out the movement more, too

The OG Xbox One makes a fantastic media device for things like Plex, youtube, twitch, and if you're willing to fork out for it, they are *great* for xbox cloud gaming -- if you have enough bandwidth for it to not chug too hard.

The power draw compared to a Chromecast TV would be massive. Not to mention it doesn't support newer codecs like HEVC or AV1 in hardware

Not sure that your read on the status of retrocomputers here is right. I think you're mostly romanticizing the past, and deprecating the present.

@@wotsac If you look at my previous video touring the place there's definitely a shift away from retro computing equipment. The Seattle store seems to be more interested in that gear nowadays
