Sorry to disagree with you but the reason for either Z cutting or angle cutting in opposite direction is to distribute the pressure opposite of each other. It's basic structure engineering. It a matter how long before it fails, don't matter how good of a welder you are, certify or not.

The engine builder from Oklahoma KT3406 has created a very clever oil plug with a magnet for the big diesel engines. Brilliant idea. Made in America with assistance from a local machine shop. Check his video where he recently introduced this unique product.
