(re)Searching Out New Brands to Flip for a Profit on eBay - HaUL!!

Hi, I’m Christin, a full time American reseller very newly moved to Sydney, Australia. I thrift secondhand fashion to flip online for a profit. Discovering what’s available in Op Shops is only part of the equation, now I have to see what eBay is showing for popular brands with a decent sell through rate. I’m learning new brands and seeing what’s out there. Is there a profit to be made even at the smaller and pricier city thrifts?

Oh oops, that was just someone else’s listing for financial comparison sake, BUT, something from this haul did sell and gave me $110 after fees so that covers COG for nearly everything! Like everything but the Anthro overalls 😂

Zimmermann is a big deal here too. Never found it. Too bad about the Ally dresses, they look really cute. Oh I don't like aerosole deoderant. I feel like it sends chemicals into the air that I am breathing. The Farm Rio is great, I've never found it Those Felix overalls are so cute!

Gosh if only you could find someone who travels regularly between Seattle & Sydney who you could pay to take a suitcase or two for you each time. You could have your friend Melissa load up on stuff from the bins for you and list those items there! Not realistic I realize, but there must be some way to lower your COG.

I like the way you think!! I wanted to BE that traveler in 2020!! Maybe it’ll happen for me in 2024, going to see family and friends only with the clothes on my back and a carry-on, coming back with two moving boxes of bins finds. If ever I have a friend go from Sydney to Seattle, I shall be asking 😂 Also I might ask for a solid stick of Dove and some BioSilk - those are the two products I miss even though the alternatives work just fine.
