I don't know why people hold Justin in such high regard that it would be considered a "crime" to cover him. Most people can't really do him justice, certainly, but holding an artist to that regard is putting him on an unnecessary pedestal. There are plenty of artists out there just as good and better than Bon Iver. This cover is proof he can be covered, and so is Birdy's version of Skinny Love.

Actually no of the lyrics really make sense. The first time that there were songs which made sense is on the new album i,i. Justin always wrote his lyrics thinking about which syllables would fit the instrumental. It's such a unique way to make music but this is one of the reasons he is able to create those wonderful soundscapes.
