Is 99 int 99dex the most efficient stats? Or can I add vit and str(for weight purposes)

You can get some str/vit/agi for personal preference. Your damage won't change too much while the points are cheap. Some agi might actually add more dps when trap speed matters. I wanted maximum trap damage though.

The equips are whatever adds the most int/dex. The stats work towards 99 int/99 dex/9 agi at level 99. At each particular level I had the balance of int/dex that gave the maximum damage from the equation on irowiki. If you would like I have a tool that outputs the balance of int/dex for every level up to 99. I can run it and send the output. It does depend on the bonus stats from equips and job levels. Otherwise it's safe to input equal amounts of int and dex as you level. Int is a tiny bit stronger. vit and agi can be added for personal preference. specific gear: upper headgear: Ramen hat mid headgear: binoculars weapon: double dextrous arbalest bow or bazerald garment: raydric muffler (I don't think I had one at this point) shoes: +9 superior shoes/boots (I don't think I had these at this point) accessories: 2x earring [0] when below 90, nimble earrings when 90 and above

In general, for playing trapper it is helpful to understand the following: -monster path -skill range -trap mechanics -directional skills -line of sight -elements -how each skill works Let me know if you have more specific questions on the class.
