Why Best Jenest is bleeding is because he lost his longue when fighting AFO and has yet to fully recover, much like how All Might coughs up blood. Also, quirks are physical abilities. Restraining Machia physically strains Best Jenest to the point blood vestals in his eyes and nose start to pop and his one remaining lunge has to work overtime to keep up. Jenest never uses his abilities motionless. He always moves his body and strains his muskles to manipulate fibers, as if he's holding onto a lasso.
