[RE-UPLOAD] Should Players CAMP at OPS 39

My main concern is the disappearance of 3 star materials in the rewards, as a low spend, low activity player they are my main concern. Appreciate the advice, but for me personally I'm planning a pretty long camp at 39. Clear and concise video though with good logic and arguments. Thank you.

You are quite welcome. Honestly I wish I played a more low activity playstyle a lot of the time but its hard to pump out content for the community that way 😅 You MIGHT be okay to bump up to 40 through as far as 43 before a long camp right now the way the game is set up. I would first ask players on your server at those levels though if they are still getting a decent amount of G3 materials. I am Ops 42 and still get plenty of G3 to fund my back log of research and buildings that weren't required to push but that may not be the case on all server so it is definitely worth asking your community beforehand. Either way, camping at 39 as long as you are comfortable is totally fine my friend. Thanks for checking out the video and for your comment @Ardanian! 🖖

nice and concise video with lots of info. currently at ops 39 and was planning on staying for a while but i may make the jump. i know a few in my alliance have been flying through the 40's but i definitely know ill be going for an uncommon g4 ship as i've seen how good they can be.

This really comes down to what's your server like. I'm on an older server, S10, and skipping camping at ops39 is not a good idea. You will be left to farming to try and get ahead without a maxed epic ship, or research done at ops40+. Once you get to Ops40, you get less 3* mats from events.

Even on server 63 the scarcity of 3* materials has been a giant pain and a hurdle for progression at 41. Great call @Dennis Laur.

Thanks for the advise. I have been camping for a bit here at ops 39. I have almost all the research done and most of the station upgrades maxed at this point and just am trying to work on my faction miners and G3 Epic ships (Ent and Auger at T5 almost T6). From your list it sounds like I am ready to make that jump to 35 as long as I am willing to go after the Valdore or other UC G4 ships. I am hoping the ships I have will carry me a little longer especially since I do not have an ISS Jelly yet either for Jelly brawl events. Your advice on the away team max credit crew with Kirk Nero and Ahvix has been really helpful in building up those away team credits to make sourcing on ship BPs easier when I make that move into the 40s.

After playing 1 to 39 three times, I say - if you have been efficient (80 percent), camp at 39 for 4 to 6 months - then if you feel ready, camp at 41 (I did it, verry happy). Pulling daily stuff at 41 is awesome.

currently camping at 43... did my "leap" from 39 to 41 in the last arc of 2021. ops42 "stings" a bit to get to... Treasury is also a very useful building to keep upgraded.

Sorry, challenged understanding: Grade 4 Armada Chests... So a chest you get possibly as one for starting an Armada.... Uncommon (1), Rare (2), Epic (3).... Grade 4? Does this mean Deep Space Epic? Stuck at T6 for my meridian (both... because I didnt realize the uncommon survey parts problem until I'd already gotten 2 meridians to T6... even at T6, good DS mining through L43 systems). I clearly got some... just trying to keep that happening. Waiting one more Battle Pass just to up my Epic G3 ship. Thx.

Close my friend! What you're seeing in your Alliance tab of the Store right now only scales up to the G3 ships + the ISS Jellyfish. When you Ops up to 40 I believe it was you'll get a new "G4" version of each rarity level (you can still access the old ones however). They are much more expensive (scaled for deep space armada counterparts) to draw from. I'm stuck at a T8 Meridian right now as I need the G4 rare survey parts to finish building it but they don't start dropping from your ship parts refinery until Ops 42 I believe (still Ops 41 right now). It's got some teeth now though and I've chased a couple would-be hunters down with it in territory so far which is awesome fun! 😁

The degree to which you camp depends on your gaming mentality. Personally, I am not one that needs to keep up with the Jones's and chase that shiny ring. I know I will not be the most powerful player out there. But I can be the most powerful L39 that can make a L42-44 think twice. So I'll camp at 39 and continue to build up ships and research until things become stagnant. Then I'll push to L42 to get all the new stuff and make the game fresh and exciting again.

i guess i am lucky that I was able to finish my "hard" camping. it took me MONTH´s and Months and months to FINALLY catch up my Research You would not believe the things my G3 epics are able to do now 🙂

I am sitting at 39 b/c I heard that 3* drops a lot in the 40s and I am still tiering up my 3* Epics. Is that the case?

I would first ask around your own server since payouts can be a bit different from server to server. Find a few Ops 40 and 41 players and ask them if they're still getting a good flow of G3 mats. For my own situation, I still get a very decent amount of G3 materials compared to Ops 39 (if not the same amount then perhaps a bit more I believe), but the big difference is that not every event rewards both G4 and G3. Some are only G4. The ones that do give G3 give a lot though.

@@Secure_Play Thanks for the note. I am hearing that from people on my server (60j that they are having issue if upgrading their G3 Epics after moving to 40/41
