Rem initially said she was punishing Betelgeuse for trepassing or Roswall's property, but Betelgeuse told her that was bullshit and that she was only coming here and risking her life, because Subaru was taken by him. That's why Betelgeuse mocked her and told her she should stop saying noble sounding stuff, when she was there for a selfish reason. Also the reason Betelgeuse thinks Subaru is pride, is because Subaru reeks of the witch's miasma which isnt normal for people not affiliated with the cult

The respawn point at the beginning of the episode was *intentionally* made to make you believe like he looped all the way back. Tappei is an evil genius. Also, Petelguese called out Subaru's behavior mask. Notice how quickly Subaru throws it off and goes into Guts mode when Petelguese plays Twister with Rem. Oh! And one more thing. Believe it or not, Petelguese shares the same voice actor with *Kirito*

There were many hints about what Petelgeuse said about his madness being too rational in the way he sought and acted pitiful; Like how he begins his "madness" by clinging to Rem, the one person at the time he knew would care for him. Mostly it's evident in how he subtly reacts to dangers etc.

yeah when a show ends we usually have a poll to replace it. So since you mention that show i can put it on the future poll to come. The way the poll works is the patrons vote on their top 3 out of all possible options and a week later those 3 are made public for general poll where anyone can vote. Why tho? Nothing happend in the ova that would've spoiled them you only saw a glimpse of the cult but you wouldn't know anything about that unless you're rewatching the series the ova is supposed to be watched between episode 11 and 12 its the chronological order and wouldn't make sense to be watched after episode 15

Puck ability, Felt outcome, Rem simping for Subaru, Puck and end of the world - they already said it this episode and also they knew instantly that Puck froze his fingers. They would probably figure it out it was Puck, but it wouldn´t be that easy. OVA 2 is told after OVA 1 and OVA 2 happened before prologue. In season 2 there are flashback episodes. Chronological recommended order is not even chronological. Creators and writer of this show are working together, they know what they doing.
