It's almost like that movie doesn't at all address the idea that dying repeatedly like that would have repurcussions for a person's mental state. That ending is so dumb. I like Doctor Strange, but the idea that Dormamu would completely give up forever just because he got annoyed is stupid. Realistically speaking, if anyone was going to crack in that situation, it should have been Strange.

Because it simply is, the cinematography in this episode is honestly the best i have ever seen in my entire life, the legendary voice actors, especially the ones of subaru and betelgeuse, the ambiances bumps(rem saying "love you" after all this graphics horror is such brutal change of atmosphere making this sequence a trip to hell and we can only imagine what few things are going on into subaru's destroyed mind) ,the sequences where we really are diving into subaru's mind downfall, one of the best music of all time, requiem of silence that just suit this episode so good BECAUSE it was made for this episode only and yeah, this end where we even, after all of that madness discover an other horror, with this unknowned creature that we hope is not what we think but after all of that, we can only think the worst, the head falling topped by this musical masterpice. This episode IS a Masterpiece

Some pertinent anime-only information/clarifications to keep in mind shown in this episode -Subaru's restart point is the 3rd day of staying at the Karsten Household -In the previous loop, Rem felt the shock from Ram on the 5th day, where they took the 2-day detour to get to the mansion -The hooded figures that attacked the mansion are the same as the hooded figures that attacked Rem's village, Witch cultists, which is why Rem had that flashback -Rem tortured Subaru thinking he was a member of the Witch’s Cult in a previous episode. -Rem notes that the Witch's miasma and "unpleasant smell" has grown stronger on Subaru -Betelgeuse referred to that as "abundant dense love" -Sin Archbishop of Sloth for the Witch's Cult - Betelgeuse Romanee-Conti -Betelgeuse asks whether Subaru is Pride -There is a day of the Ordeal that is supposedly happening soon -Betelgeuse asks Subaru if he owns a copy of the Gospel -Authority of Sloth: Unseen Hand is the move Betelgeuse used

They were deer in the head lights at the end there. Just total shock. I dunno why Mickey needs answers all the time, this is loop 3 now. In the past two loops we saw Subaru would be lost in what's happening and through the loops figure out a manner to succeed. Same deal here, we are learning what he is up against and what he has to overcome. The point of this episode is Subaru being slothful (faking madness) and it only made things worse.
