there is a scene that was in the novel but got removed from anime for some reason, when subaru got in the car with priscilla and Al when they were going to the big castle, where subaru made the shameful show, they two talk while still in the car and Al tells him that he is from another world too, and removing that from the anime means that, priscilla would do stuff that are unreasonable for anime-watchers, because she doesnt know about subaru coming from another world IN THE ANIME, (the following is my own theory: ) meaning that she wont think about a relation between Al's and Subaru's origin, and ablities, not sure if she knows about Al's ability but she probably does

Al and Subaru has the same witch factor/ability. Might be true since Satella only hands her powers to Subaru. Just that Al might be an alternate version and not the Canon version who Satella fell in love with, but still gave him her protection. If you know watched Loki and his alternates then that's the sort of relationship they have. Divergent lives but only one true canon event.
