Honestly, the most important thing for me was the confirmation that season 3 will actually happen. How many light novel adaptations actually get more than 2 seasons? Now that we know it's gonna happen I don't really mind waiting more. We just need to wait for more info, because aside from the initial trailer and two key visuals we literally haven't gotten anything yet.

I totally agree that there cannot possibly be another delay when there were already enough delays during pre-production. They should already be knees deep into the marketing and post production phase already. Production schedule cannot simply be adjusted because they acquired a new anime to work on when they were already working on something else first of priority. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't delay a priority such as Re: Zero over a newer one because its literally their bread winner atm. I also hate it when people give riddiculous estimates of when it would be released like it needs 2 or 3 more years to perfect it. Thats riddiculous! Re: Zero is White Fox's priority right now! The production follows a rigorous schedule my fellow weebs! And it seems with the trailer and 2 key visuals for S3 it should release on time and as expected. I have a very interesting theory about Re: Zero's release though... So S1 was announced on July 19th 2015 and released on April 4th 2016. S2 was announced on March 23rd 2019 and was supposed to release in April 2020 but got delayed because of Covid. Now, S3 was announced on March 25th of this year, and I think it would be released next year somewhere in April. Why? Well we can see that Tappei is sorta ritualistic when it comes to release dates as we can see that with the IF stories. Subaru is born in April. I would be laughing maniacally if my theory is correct LOL

When i first saw that White Fox was starting a new project, i saw it as a good thing for Re:zero. White Fox isnt stupid. They wouldnt take another project on if they werent confident they could handle it, especially since they recently had a huge thing where they laid off a lot of staff, as well as how terrible the production of season 2 went. This should be seen as a sign that White fox is improving as a studio. Re:zero is White fox's adoptive baby, and they likely dont want it to be anything less than what they imagine for it. I mean, its their breadwinner after all. This anime announcement might be them attempting to grow their name with the backing of Re:zero season 3's announcement. I only look at this with optimism, as i personally view White fox as a very important part of what makes Re:zero, Re:zero. edit: take a shot for every "White fox" in this

I feel like season 3 will release early 2025 at best, maybe near mid 2025, but 70% chance for 2024. Also 90% chance season 3 will have arc 5 and 6, so it'd have to have near 50 episodes. 17 - 19 for arc 5 and the rest for 6, then we'd have to wait for like 2 - 3 years for season 4 (which shouldn't take that long since arc 7 and i think 8 are simple), but series won't even be done until 20 years at least. LN should be done later this decade.
