i don't like this relationship. when subaru tells emilia why he loves her he just tells her things about her looks. nothing about her as a person and then he get's aggressive because 'he does so much for her' like dude nobody asked you to do shit for her idk i don't like this kinda trope, it doesn't feel like they're equal more like he's guilt tripping her into loving him and there's nothing beautiful about that

I think we all didn't like the arc 7 and half the time of arc 8, because we were stripped of everything we grew to love and cherish. We feel suffocated just as much as Subaru does but that's not the main reason we all tend to avoid subconsciously. We are forced to start over and even the most genius or powerful people would fail at this juncture, and such failures are to be expected. However, it all felt unnecessary. Something Tappei wanted to avoid as much as he could in the earlier seasons. We are no longer treated like a child we were and throughout the upload of the series, we are no longer bound by these chains we set ourselves in and are ready to change. That is the intended point of why Re:Zero is fully "disregarding" our precious, previous accomplishments and is giving us a new perspective in life, something anybody in their "right mind" would never do willingly. Re:Zero is like a mother trying to open the world to us, but we antagonize "her" and hate not the "mother" but the act of abandonment. We feel abandoned and are stuck with people who feel even more bewildered upon waking up without knowledge of what, where and when even more than us, watching or Subaru, who first recognizes in what part of the world he's in and as the story goes - he struggles. Struggles a lot to blend in. Struggles to learn how to socialize and struggles to learn how much weight a word is. How much blood could be avoided and how to avoid spilling it more. He is going through almost the same arc Rudeus Greyrat was going through when he was teleported to the Demon continent. Maturity is what most of the stories fail to grasp, to recreate and to tell, but these two stories know everything about how people mature and in the other world, the most surefire way was to teleport randomly with people under your care. We can't relate to it when we didn't live the same lives as them, as they become more and more distant, they become their own character, defined by what they did, do and will do in the future. This arc is the most distant of them all, making us feel this suffocation even more closely. At arm's reach. We, the reader, we, the viewer struggle, even if not just as much, but we truly struggle to keep reading, to keep watching. This is the real test, if we are ready to move on with the story or are we gonna give up. We are also the heroes of our own lives and we arrive at this destination. As someone who got to the 9th arc, can say, Yes. After the 7th arc it got better, and better, and better enough to enter the winds, swirling like a hurricane and even lead these surging winds. The world is living, breathing even. It then starts to pile up the stakes. The Vollachian Empire was just the start. We proved that with everything that was built up, fantasy on par with the Tolkien's fantasies is playing it's game. Normally, you would never ever dare imagine yourself being one of the key figures in world changing events and our Emilia camp indeed made it's first debut in the world, as the saviours of the world-ending Calamity that seeked destruction of half the world, it being two major countries of Lugunica and Vollachia. All of these words don't fit in this comment just like the intended arc doesn't fit in one arc, causing it to split. I hope my comment got you the overall sense of how the arc 7 and 8 goes. The structure of this entire comment wasn't intended as, but tries to imitate these two arcs and i think you might have to just try and be more patient with what you read. The term "fel handsd" and the "bloody handed" are used in our own history referring to murder and killing. Never liked rezero couldn't even finish the second season part of the reason is the characters don't seem to have depth to me and the passing is off I am a huge fan of the horror genre and the thing that rezero has going best for it is the horrific experiences witch would feel very well done if this was as short and focused as something like uzumaki but when the horrific elements are wrapped up in generic isieki settings and side characters it begins to feel more like (dont like to use the term) torture p*rn. It simple isn't focusing on the elements it does the best for me. For people who do find the setting interesting I can differently see how it would be enjoyable though.

I'm a bt torn about not mentioning the PTSD he suffers from due to what his mother did to him. I think it's respectful not to try to paraphrase it yourself here in the doc, but on the other hand mentioning that it was a major factor in his dysfunctional childhood and telling people they can read the twitlonger themselves if the can handle the subject matter might have really painted to adverty Cody's had to overcome.
