Thanks for sharing! When I first watched the movie "Cooley High" it was the first time I heard The Four Tops "Reach Out-I'll Be There". The song still Rocks today. I remember I cried at the end of the movie. The ending was made all the more poignant with this song.

My class is preparing the "Forever Motown" Medley for an upcoming competition, with such songs as "I Heard it Through the Grapevine," "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," etc. But this song is by far my favourite to perform as a group. The harmonies sound amazing, and the chorus feels so powerful, a wonderful song.

I use to live in the area Cabrini Greens where the movie was filmed people shared love and we seen pain. But to see the neighborhood now it is so different people today don't love and interact with one another the way Cooley High is depicted. This movie is recommended for all ages.
