Thanks for sharing! When I first watched the movie "Cooley High" it was the first time I heard The Four Tops "Reach Out-I'll Be There". The song still Rocks today. I remember I cried at the end of the movie. The ending was made all the more poignant with this song.

I use to live in the area Cabrini Greens where the movie was filmed people shared love and we seen pain. But to see the neighborhood now it is so different people today don't love and interact with one another the way Cooley High is depicted. This movie is recommended for all ages.

I'm late. I just watched the Funk Brothers Story on Standing in the Shadows of Motown...about the musicians behind the hits...an awesome dvd collection. I love it so here I am listening to the musicians now and not the voices...it is great knowing they finally are being recognized. If you haven't seen it please get it.
