Reaching Australia and new big milestone (S1E51)
In this episode we are flying to Australia, my 28th country and also third continent. The start of a new important chapter of this trip. Unfortunately the trip doesn't start as smoothely as I'd hoped for, as my front derailleur quickly breaks. Luckily I manage to continue riding (without shifiting gears) and soon all problems are forgotten after the odometer displays the magical 20.000 kilomter number. Nice milestones and a new adventure starting. Enjoy the ride!

Smart guys have a Rohloff14 on tour. Mine has 20,700 miles, still getting smoother every ride. Only one cable change. Two tours avg 4,100 miles, Vietnam, China and NW Can/America. Had chain and cog wear problems for a while, but now all good in my DIY CF cover.

7:48 You can only use one chainring - not one gear. You forgot the 11 sprockets in the back. There are people who don't have a second chainring and they don't complain ... Congrats to 20k!
