I think that the verse you quote says that we shouldn't love this world, meaning that we "want to stay here and like it here very much". So in other words you should always be ready to die because you should always think "nothing holds me back here, I have nothing here since I don't love the world / anything material." You can still love music though, you imply that you can't love anything besides God, so you also can't have any passions, etc. But once again, that's how I understand it, it doesn't have to be true.

Our church is non traditional, we listen to so much Lecrae, KB, Andy Maneo, Thousand Foot Krutch, Skillet and bands like this. My dad whose the lead pastor loves Christian rap and rock. He loves like the “hype” music. Which is good because if we didn’t listen to religious songs like these and just the slow bland boring songs, I’m not sure if I’d be happy going to my own dads church.
