at the end of the day, deepwoken is still block parry dodge. Theres just more layers to look at since people have gotten better at reading opponents and making mixups. silent heart is in no way just focusing on parrying though. You get 2 additional moves that entirely change how you play especially ankle cutter.

I find it very amusing that Silent hearts uppercut is a very strong pve weapon. The only damage type that can hit you during it is aoe attacks like the sharkos coral spear. Claw swipes, rag doll kicks\tail whips ain’t got shit on silent heart uppercut

Bruh what I'm literally a shadow user, I've never gone contractor, and I absolutely hate eclipse kick. That entire mantra was a bad idea, the whole point of shadowcast was low damage and ether steal, and then they add one of the highest damage lowest telegraphed blockbreaking mantras that also still steals ether and blinds you... I hate it.

Imma go on a rant because I feel like it. Why the hell can’t I enjoy deepwoken anymore, I’m playing with my brother and we make the same build we have some fun in 2v2s. (We are kids, like I’m 14 my brother is 12) but we have issues we can’t parry and are not very good at PVP so we use other monkey tactics to play. However we have come to find out how toxic people are. At the start we were winning almost every battle until we reached level 20 and 17. People were beating the crap out of us. But when ever we had a good fight and lost someone calls us trash telling us we suck, and we played rogue we were used to that but the fact that it kept happening over and over. We just want to have fun but the community is just a bunch of toxic rats. I know this is just a huge skill issue but I just wanted to say this even tho no one cares

Silenthearts either want to play without mantras or want to watch the world burn as they spam ankle cutters in chimes. Dawnwalkers also want to watch the world burn. Contractors want to watch the world burn too. But really, silentheart should have just disabled mantra damage for you and voided your mantras, with no upgrades like oathless. I'd totally play it if that were the case.
