Although I agree in some aspects, adjuchar and vastocar in peroxide aren’t nearly as much of a jump as you make it out to be. Also, you can do quests for stat xp by talking to the NPC next to the stat board which gives significantly more that the mini games. Also they just recently removed hunger from the game lol

Life without Type soul is absolute bliss. Peroxide has freed me from the unbreaking chains. When i was freed, i went outside for the first time in my life. I made friends, got a job and finally took a shower. But of course, doing such a thing comes with drawbacks. I hired a personal trainer to help me start off working out. The first thing he had me do is pushups. As soon as i went up, it felt just as hard if not harder than the grind for Bankai. It was bad, i started getting flashbacks and hallucinations. I looked up at my Trainer and i though he was the Bankai Boss. I freaked out, i pulled out a gun and shot him twice while screaming " I did NOT do 175 kills in raid, and spend an entire week no sleeping getting clapped by you for me to have to beat you again!" I couldnt take it anymore! I ran out the room into the hallway to see people, who i couldve sworn were quincies swarm the hallways. So i took out my M16 rifle, and started spraying em down while shouting "Quincy K til my bones decay". For once in my life i felt like i was free, so relieved to finally see the very people that prayed on my downfall, colapse on the floor going through the same pain i went through grinding type soul. I once went into the art museum to find what thought had to be a bluepill to reset my stats. So broke the class and took it. Next thing you know i hear alarms blaring. It was the arrancars. Now i am living a happy life in solitary confinement, desperately waiting for peroxide to release so i can see the hawt quincy females and the soul reaper femboys. Thank you, MR.PEROXIDE for this gift of the gods.

I'd like to just point out that stat training isn't bad in Peroxide if you just get the bare minimum of like, 20 smth stats to get flashstep and such. Kisuke and that one NPC in Soul Society give a lot of stats from training with them and is much better to do than the exercises, so really those exercises are for very early game. Other than that amazing video brotha, love your content

I have access to peroxide since a year, and the major thing that ruins peroxide pvp is the lack of moves, u can only use 5 moves at a time (before it was even 4). But they said theyre gonna make it 7 which will make the overall combat way better.

I do agree that objectively non-stun will always be better than true-stun but I personally prefer true-stun. I don’t really like high skill ceilings in games because at some point if you take too much time off it may be difficult to “catch up”. Sometimes I like to hop on, land flashy combos and hop off. So when it comes to the combat I like to say it’s subjective. As for the other stuff, hunger got removed and early game training DOES have options (although incredibly limited). I do agree that early game is miserable as the game either forces you to bandit beat or play minigames. I do prefer peroxide but I will never call it “the type soul killer” because it isn’t. They’re different games with different playstyles and niches. I don’t like the idea that only one game can survive at a time I hope that both communities can just get along.

I'm not gonna lie, this was a good video and everything you said was lowkey a good way to judge both games. Both games are different, some have pros and some have their cons. But if people enjoy type soul, there's no problem. And if people enjoy peroxide that shouldn't be a problem either. But I can't lie type soul pvp can be really satisfying especially when you boss raid.

Some of the faults of Peroxide were recently Modified and removed like the food need. Also M1 damage scaling was improved for all builds. The Jumping AI was changed to make them even smarter. Combat will most likely be improved to get closer to deepwoken as that was the original inspiration for the style of the game.

The hunger got removed, treadmils and all of the minigames are for earlygame, after you get around 20 in all the stats you want you can start either do Kisuke fight which gives you a ton of stats for midgame, invasions which give a massive amount i go from 230 str to 260, and lastly missions can give you stats if you just speak to the quincy next to it. Gaining stats in the game is very easy , the only "hard" things in peroxide are Segunda,Bankai,Volt fights and maybe the only "long" grind in peroxide is going from adjucha to vastolorde without help. Its a 6 hour grind from just fighting non-vastolordes. You havent compared accesories, Type Soul accesories is just buying them from an NPC for some money or beating the bosses. On the other hand peroxide accesories can be obtained from diffrent ways, one of the easiest ways from earlygame is shinigamis/quincyies/arrancars (weak) start stealing reshin, apart from giving you alot of money,exp and a good stat increase at your option they also have a chance at giving good accesories. Than its invasions and raids, invasions is just aton of exp,stats increase and easy good accesories while raids is just a boss fight where you can get their cloak (aizen and ulq sadly the chances are quite low). Now the last and most importnat thing you havent compared is how "rare" it is to get a legendary clan,element. Apart from easily being able to get PE (product essence you use for chanceing elements and clans) in game you can also farm them in AFK world. Now that the curency is easy to get the legendary clans and elements are easy to get as well, i have 3 slots with all 3 legendary clans and 1 with legendary element from now (others i prefare the rare elements). You may think the game will be boring if it is this easy but in reality it isnt, it make take you around 1 week of full grind to get everything apart from vizard which i personally not reccomend right now as you gain debuffs while being out of mask. Impure Hogyoku is used for vizard and it may take 1 time gates or 100, the chance is quite low but the reward RIGHT NOW isnt that big. While in Type Soul captain/espada and quincy things were CC, in peroxide is opened for everyone to challenge and take spots/seats (Captains only gain a meh cloak and level 4 mastry move). Due to this fact after being maxed you still have a reason to play and that is getting a seat, lit or even captain and attend wars between gotei,las noches and wenden and MAYBE once the game is opened more factions will appear created by the player base. After all of this there is 1 more gamemode for endgame which is sadly quite empty right now but hopefully once game is opend ranked will be more active and encourage people to grind ranked. While in Type soul endgame is only RAIDS RAIDS RAIDS and than showoff bankai/res in peroxide you have multiple stuff to do inorder to not make endgame so boring. Hopefully this message make the people watching understand that not everything has been compared.

I agree with mostly everything but I have to point out that there’s limited out of moves that you can use. You can only have 4 slots to use attacking moves and you get your 4th by getting vollstandig, Bankai, etc. So you’re not going to die in “1 hit” unless your build sucks or there’s an insane level gap.

It's me, the person that comments on things much later because they didn't get to be a tester. Here to put the official time it took me to "finish" both games. Peroxide: 24 hours for max level Quincy slot + ongoing 12 hours for hollow slot + Paused 2 hours for unreleased fullbringer slot (38 hours total currently, also could've been faster but hollow protection squad was fun.) Type Soul: Unfinished because I had to wait an hour to rank up. I ended up playing Peroxide a day later and from then on. My statement on the games, personally I prefer Peroxide because instead of having 6 hours of doing nothing but staring at a wall I get to actually play the game and feel like I am making progress. Combat is iffy at times in PVE due to the AI of NPCs but you eventually learn some of their tendencies and PVP can be interesting as you won't get 100-0'd unless you stand still or built the equivalent of no vitality. Also will point out in end game there's not much to do other than PVP and gain mastery over your final form but even then the game can still be fun as long as you are able to talk like a human being to other human beings. Type Soul however, wants me to sit around doing nothing for thirty plus minutes just because I am being edged from a rank up and I can't get it until the game feels like letting me get it; I can't even speak much on the combat because I needed to wait 30 mins for my next rank which I am not doing in game btw. The devs should end the game's lifespan.

In peroxide to gain stats you made a slight error likely due to you not knowing, but I will correct it now. You can do many things, you can do incursions which auto boost your stats via pve, you can do time gate which does the same thing but through pvp and you can do invasions which is a combination of both and both timegate and invasions can give you items as well

i think the "true-stun" combat and the "non-stun" combat is just a preference among players, i find more enjoyable being able to do crazy combos even knowing the enemy can do the same, but atleast they gave us evasives

I think he left out the part of stat training, Training in the gym and doing minigames can only get your stats up to 30, but it adds a stat gain multiplier, stats can also be trained by talking to the quest guy and changing the stat to the one you wanna train, then do the quests on the board. Stats can also be train via incursions, raids, quests, time gates, time bubbles.

Peroxide doesn’t REQUIRE you to do training. You can talk to the mission board guy and give him 50 money and to focus quests to a single stat. Completing focus quests gives you XP for the levels and the stat

Even as someone who HATES type soul (because im trash at pvp) I can agree type soul has better combat. However if peroxide fixses the combat, makes pvp more viable for even under leveled people to fight back even a bit, I can see the game going really well. I also really want them to make it so arrancars cant kill hollows, cuz you already know people love killing innocent hollows and resetting their prog for zero reason, I wouldnt complain if it was a soul reaper or a quincy but come on man.

You're wrong about Peroxide stats. Your RANK determines your stat cap for combat stats, agility & reiatsu. [RankUp occurs when you fill a bar with all stats filled to their caps[ Your Potential is the average of all your stats, which means it's increased by training your stats. Your Level Cap is your Potential + 5 (or more if you are Adjuchar/Vastocar) And Lastly, Levels scale your stats (up until Lv.100) and each Level gives you +1HP.

It seems like the biggest issue with peroxides combat(hit-stun) might be due to the moves doing true/full dmg, which leads to one-touch kills. these might be able to solve the combat issue first they should buff evasive from 1 use to 3/4 uses and make it so that the more you hit players or players hit you the less time it takes for your evasive timer/bar to come back. Secondly to solve the one combo kills they should make it so that the more hits in a combo, the less damage each subsequent hit will do. Each attack has a damage value (x) which is multiplied by 1 (y) for full damage. That attack can multiply the multiplier. So attack 1 does 10 damage times y, and multiplies the y value by by .9, so the 2nd hit in the combo does 10 damage (x), multiplied by .9 (y), so now it does 9 damage. The 2 hits together do 19 points of damage. So it's damage * (multiplier * damage scaling)

peroxide combat isn't that bad the fact it punishes and that its all around challenging makes it more fun. I'm not saying the infinite combos don't ruin it but that's why there's moves that undergo the category of "Evasive Moves" that help get out of the infinite combos.

Reaconteur, the games combat model being either non stun, mini stun, or true stun doesn’t make the combat bad or good, because you could say that non stun is bad because you don’t get a big punish on your opponent or you don’t get a big punishment for screwing up or you could say that true stun is bad because it’s simply “less skilled” than non stun(I don’t agree as if you lose a fight in true stun then it’s mostly because of your mistake and not just because of “no skilled combos” as your opponent wouldn’t have gotten the combo if you didn’t make a mistake), it depends on if the game does their combat model good or not, for example, type soul, even if it’s fun, has a terrible take on non stun parry base combat(bullshit “parrying” windows which make you predict instead of react, reacting is the whole point of parry based combat so making the parries prediction base is idiotic), but peroxide on the other hand does true stun great as they have accounted for m1 spam on blocks to make you have to unblock giving your opponent a free combo if you have higher ping than your opponent and can’t m1 to stop their m1s(block counter) and wall combos that are unfair as you can’t get knocked back to escape the combo(wall counters), and they have also made low cooldown evasives to escape combos. Basically, the whole point of this yap sess was because you keep trying to make true stun sound bad even though it’s not the combat model, it’s the way the game works with the combat model.

You're actually wrong about one thing. It's been specified that a soul with exceptionally high spiritual pressure does in fact need to eat. Hollows automatically get high spiritual pressure, which is why they eat a lot. You even see rukia, renji and the others eating food and being hungry in their back story. Ontop of that, kiskue and yoruichi aren't human.

@@Reaconteur honestly. as a Tester- Just grab a group of adjuchas homies and at lvl 60+ just Farm Storms Each NPC is 100 Kills Super fast progression I got Vasto in a day that way. If Solo just go in a when you feel like you can solo the npc. ALSO ALSO DO NOT Take off your mask as soon as you get vasto... FARM Storm with max stats vasto for the Gems cause they are reallly OP and wiill make lvl 1 Vastocar really easy to farm up. If you make a guide Please inform them of what I just said.

Also this is just a personal thing but peroxide just vomits effects way too often on your screen. Visual clarity isn’t type souls strong suit but peroxide literally throws it out the window and it looks ugly as hell. My gripe with type souls prog are rank cds, the bankai prog and vizard/letz. If all of those were actually fun and bearable to do (and actually obtainable, looking at you 10 hog frags), the prog isn’t bad at all. They also over rely on raids since it’s the only thing to do, but there isn’t raid queues so often times you’re spamming to join a full server or waiting 10 minutes. Fix those and type soul becomes 10x better

Warning from the past three month since this video by "fixed" They meant it can do a certain combo that will allow you to use a move to invade it with it doing the combo once till cool down. What's the combo cool down on? M1's... Yep just M1's they can still combo with skills. Edit: Right also they updated the AI again during the lastest update they can now Block while still mid animation of their own attacks, they can now do combos again by the but load, and they can still almost 0 - 100% kill you as long they don't focus on M1's which by the way the AI has about all the move sets you can get yourself but not limited so good luck!

Vastocar and Adjucar aren't much different aside from the exp gain difference and extra five levels that vastocvar get. Don't forget that they get Cero Oscuras which isn't useful if you aren't spirit. Adjucar, The buffs they get are: 1.05x stat multiplier 40% EXP buff +50 max hp +5 to their max level at max potential (Potential + 10 = Max Level) Arrancars in this game get stats the same way Soul-Reapers do. Vastocar, The Buffs they get are: 1.15x stat multiplier 80% EXP boost +80 max hp +10 to their max level at max potential (Potential + 15 = Max Level) Hunger has been removed.

from my experience peroxide is just more speed focused combat, though one thing i can say that they did good was that, they made larger swords FEEL heavy instead of type soul where longsword and quincy greatsword swing speed matches a dagger attack speed, which could also signify the fact that weapons where cosmetic putting aside the criticals that the weapons had (which werent that amazing tbh could have been better)

It is. There is Flash step Degradation as in The more you flash step the more Reiastu you use. And for the Nukes most are avoidable and or deal less damage than you think they do because of the amount of HP everyone has. ANd also, Most Kido, Spirit skills have High cooldown.

Around 7:56 when you was talking about the hunger thing in s2 of bleach during rukia and renji backstory they discussed that sr and even people in soul society who have good amounts of reiatsu get hungry (i only know this cs im watching s2 rn) which i feel like thats a unique feature added because it would make the game mostly accurate to the anime (not sure about the arrancar part if they necessarily get hungry)

I think stun combat is better because type souls combat feels either really unfair or like ur not fazing your opponent at all having no health bars just attacking with no health indicator like blood when low or something which some games have when youre low so if youre fighting someone stronger than you u feel hopeless and stun combat lets u land combos on people who are strong and maybe even beat people who played during closed community or just earlier than you (huge problem with type soul) and Overall i prefer stun combat games like aba and project mugetsu its way more satisfying to land a good combo than hooray i landed 1 m1 in type soul i wonder how high his hp is, hell like not even just combat related type soul is hated by everyone only like 5% of the players actually like the game actual type souls players hate it, non type soul players hate it, its just kind of a bad game overall

One point peroxide grinding is somewhat pvp base because of time gates which are one of the best way to increase stats are pvp based. Also doing the gym mini games suck but you only gotta do them untill 30 on every stat then you start hunting down soul reaper invasions invade yourself or wait for time gate every hour

I think the biggest issue with the Peroxide Vs. Type Soul Comparisons is that they're games that are made for completely different audiences, Type Soul was clearly made for the Deepwoken players and Peroxide is more appealing to someone who's into GPO or Blox Fruits or something, one has parry non stun based PVP progression in every step of the way with no bandit beating and the other is a glorified bandit beater. The models are nicer but half the point Type Soul got so big in the first place is because just like with Deepwoken anyone can run and play it with low specs, which means you don't need a fucking supercomputer to play it with good render distance like GPO with all it's VFX, Auras and Particles, it's designed to be simple I think the Type//Soul Community is considering moving to Peroxide because 1. Type//Soul is in a bad spot right now and 2. They haven't played Peroxide yet and think it's gonna be a similar experience to T//S at all. Similar to Project Mugetsu I think T//S Players are gonna play it for about a week until they realize there's no competitive PvP in the Endgame worth bothering with and then they'll just come back to T//S, and I think the T//S Devs (while lazy) are not retarded and will capitalize by dropping some sort of update or codes to pull players back in when they're starting to get bored of Peroxide Good video btw man new sub

peroxide is much less of a bandit beater except in early game (type soul is also a bandit beater until mid game when you get to semi grade 1 which people tend to forget,), you CAN just treat it as one until max level, but it is much more viable to do other things such as time raids, incursions, invasions/defending, and time bubbles from mid-game onwards, all of which are either PVP based or stray away from pure bandit beating (genuinely hard bosses albeit soloable with time bubbles and somewhat invasions.)

Biggest turn off in type soul for me is the REDICILOUS 500 robux cost for a wipe. As a freshie who knew nothing about the game, I became a Menoscar (the weakest arrancar) and accidentally put points into Hakuda when I was looking forward to using my weapon/sword. I don't want to keep creating new accounts and grinding until I don't mess up - at least add an in-game currency which lets you wipe, or just straight up allow me to wipe at any time I want. And also, having to wait HOURS inbetween grading up, while I can understand the reason behind it, I don't see why they cant just come up with a new system altogether. If you're gonna make me grind for hours until I can ACTUALLY use moves and have fun, then don't hit the brakes halfway through. And having to mediate for an hour and 30 minutes as a soul reaper to unlock Shikai is also stupid. I got to grade 2 on one account and just dropped the game cause I was tired of the game stalling and forcing me to wait.

Imo I prefer peroxide simply because I'm not one for pvp. I think the huge division between the two is the pve and pvp. I haven't played type soul, but to me it seems like pvp is a huge way to progress compared to peroxide. So I just prefer peroxide since you're able to play on your own without needing to leech off of other players in anyway

Peroxide has gotten so much better, the ai isnt that hard now, the pve is still good, the leveling is much easier now that quest can give stat points, food is still irrelevant which is prefectly fine, but yk game got better leveling is easier pve is still pretty fun, only thing is in terms of combat which is the main part of these type of games, type souls is just so much better

Rea your v2 speedrun has issues with it. 1st. Slam store before you start the level 2nd. You can over pump to enter the glass 3rd. You can shoot a coin the moment he appears 4th. You can dead coin 2 tines after he lands and punch the coin 5th. You can overpump to the red arm

I also want to state the peroxide grind when you gain stats for using dojos there's actually an alternative way to progress your stats and its probably by far the most easiest and fastest way to progress, what i mean almost all quest boards has a npc that can change the mission to not only give you exp but also gives points to whatever stat you want to level up you can attune any stat and refresh the board and you will see stars have different colours that depends of what stats you attune to the mission making it easier and the more stars it has the more exp you gain for what stat you attuned.

I think he left out the part of stat training, Training in the gym and doing minigames can only get your stats up to 30, but it adds a stat gain multiplier, stats can also be trained by talking to the quest guy and changing the stat to the one you wanna train, then do the quests on the board. Stats can also be train via incursions, raids, quests, time gates, time bubbles. They took out hunger as of currently Did he forget to mention segunda, bankai, volstaning? Different elements have different movesets. Different elements scale off defferent things, example, forest moves scales off spirit, while vessel moves scales off strength. Their is also dual scale movesets that scale off of both stats or 90% of one.

i think a huge point to peroxide you didnt touch on here is the fact that peroxide is NOT p2w when Type Soul is HEAVILY p2w. Without spending a single bit of cash in type soul, unless you get lucky from codes, or spawn in with cifer *cough*, youre not gonna be at any advantage against a player who can spin for what res, shikai, or clan they want. Peroxide however allows players to play the entire game for free while only spending money if its absolutely necessary.
