When I first heard this its an obvious 80s synth sound but when he got to the chorus it reminded me so much of 80s Rick Springfield as he'd add his guitars with the chorus. The song def isnt my favorite, but its grown on me with each listen.

Great video man. It's funny to me because So far I love the songs from this new album and hated the 2016 & 2018 album vibes. But most of the fans seems to love the 2016/2018 stuff.

Thanks! Yeah, I didn’t love the last album. But, I thought Death of A Bachelor was dope. This album seems like it’ll be solid.

Rob Mathes has been doing the string and horn instrumentals for all the albums since the second album Pretty. Odd., which he was also the producer for. Rob has composed, produced and written for people like Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Vanessa Williams and many more. I am 98% positive he composed the horns and strings for this album too, Thank you for your insight into this song.

Seeing as this album is being recorded straight to tape, how much does it affect sound quality? Do you think it is an improvement sonically or limiting? Would love to hear your thoughts
@KevinBessey2 жыл бұрын
Great question. So, there are two drawbacks to recording on tape. First, it's hard to edit. That's why the harmonies don't sound as fine tuned as they might on a standard pop record. Second, it's much more expensive than recording digitally. It does add a certain character to those recordings. I haven't dealt with too much analog recording personally because it's so much more expensive. Jack White would probably say it's a sonic improvement, because he's a bit of an analog purist. And, there's a more continuous sound. I would say that the drawbacks outweigh the benefits personally. I would only use analog tape if I were really trying to go for that sound character of earlier music as Brendon is.

+Glyn Taylor " High Hopes " "Death of a bachelor" " Say amen" " Victorious " "hey ma look I made it" "Hallelujah" and " Emperors new clothes "are easily the worst songs from Panic!
