Aidan McKean two definitions of generations according to the English dictionary one in which you are referring and another in which refers to the average human lifespan (ie until said persons from the given generation have died or lived a full life)..... so yes their have been 3 or 4 generations born, but their have not been 3 full time generations worth of time that has passed! 3 generations is your grandparents, my point still holds true no matter what way you look at it, most people have pictures/albums and other things from their grandparents or if they do not most people have things that are 100 or more years old in their homes....

2117 kids react to a year book from 100 years ago. Kid 1; Omg it's made with paper Kid 2: why isn't it a screen Kid 3: wow is this real paper, I wish that still existed Guy: this is my great grandmas book, and look at that their clothes, they were real not holograms. All the kids: woah!!!

This was AMAZING. I paused the vid and read some of the poems and their accounts throughout the years, it's really fascinating. You can't help but feel existential when you watch things like this

I work in museums; I work in archives. I love your videos, I would not change a thing. Except. Please wear gloves while handling artifacts, such as yearbooks. (I can tell it has been well preserved...but let's keep it that way). Thanks!

Was this a school full of German immigrants? 😂 Because at least 40% of those people had German names/last names (Gertrude, Hilda, Frieda, Hildegard / Ziegler, Unterberger, Beckermann, Hoffmann, Printz, Reichenbach, Richter, Ritter...) and some of them wrote something about german stuff 😂

My dad went to this school. It was demolished a year ago. Over the years if went from all girls to boys and girls. Its really cool that one of there relatives went there!!!!!

I've spotted a mistake. The printing press wasn't invented in the 1880s, but around 1440. You're probably thinking of the rotary printing press, invented in 1843, which allowed mass production of printed works

My great grandma was born in 1916! She passed away last week at 101 surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren ❤️

Dam school in 1917? Me and my cousins are 1st generation to even finish elementary and middle School my mom Stopped going to school in 6th grade and my grandpa in 3rd grade. I consider myself blessed

My aunt actually went to that school about 50 years later so... that's really cool. Also my mom ended up going the coed version of that school

I was more concerned that in a year or 2 after these kids in the book graduated, how many of these kids survived the Spanish Flu, which attacked young people like them more than their grandparents(those with the healthiest immune systems surprisingly were most vulnerable to this strain of the Flu)

I actually bothered to pinpoint where the addresses lead to. The book is from a school in Philadelphia since the addresses had all the people who were in that book lived there at the time they were still alive. You should go and find out if the school still stands.
