“Us elders know very few songs that are on the radio for the kids nowadays” 11:30 You know that hit me. I hear complaints a lot that kids don’t do this or kids don’t know that. The other day, for the first time in a long time I saw a son, father and mother playing frisbee with each other. I hadn’t seen that in such a long time but I think it clicked for me. A lot of adults say “my kid never goes inside, they are always just playing on a device inside.” But I thought about it and it made me realize that adults do the same thing. I don’t see adult outside much, I just don’t. It’s wonderful to see a whole family outside but at the same time it is rarely seen. And often the things that we do ourselves we blame others for doing the same thing. It’s a cycle
@ricardodelacruz21595 жыл бұрын
Well I understand your point but you also gotta consider that many of these adults work full time to provide for the house and family. They also don’t have the same energy that kids have. That being said, I live by a senior community and I see many older folk walking their dogs/jogging than I kids playing at the park by my house.

Let's put it like this, be with them like you are with a friend, talk about things you enjoy or find funny, talk about what you want your future to be like, talk about problems to get a different perspective on the issue at hand, do fun things that you both like (I love nature for example). It's like being with a friend, really! And if you make mistakes it's okay, either she doesn't get over it which just means you're not compatible, or you can talk about it, come to agreements, find balance ❤️ It's a journey for sure cx

Seeing how much products and services have changed over time has intrigued me for years. Mostly from all four of my grandparents. All of them were born in the 19th Century, with the youngest being born in 1899. To see what changed in their lifetimes is truly mind blowing. My oldest grandfather was 13 when the Wright Brothers flew in North Carolina and was 78 when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. If you want to get a sense of how times have changed, there are two gentlemen, brothers, one in Tennessee and one in Virginia who are the grandsons of President John Tyler. Their grandfather was born in 1790, on year after the Constitution became effective.! Think about the changes that have happened in those three generations!

Like Catherine I waited until I was 49 to get my tattoo. I had been thinking about it for years and on my 49th birthday I got it. Two things made me happy with my decision. One when I told the guy what I wanted he burst out laughing, which was my goal, and second it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

Are you telling me we’re already in FEBRUARY 2020 and still no new ELDERS content?!
@RealRomplayer5 жыл бұрын
That's why I came here :D Had the feeling that there wasn't a new episode for quite some time, and this one is the most recent one. Also, no new "Kids react" for an even longer time (last video: 4th of December 2019).
