Literally none of the parents knew them. I really don’t get why they did this with the 2000s. All of these parents are like 80s lovers and probably was caring less about music when the 2000s hit. They look 55 or something. One of the parents thought a rock group was *NSYNC. That tells you a lot.

I'm so confused about how this was scored... Like, it wasn't really a competition, but the only scored answers were the ones from the teens? It was deemed "cheating" when a parent told their kid the answer. Why even have the parents there? Was is just so the video wouldn't be deemed "children's content" under COPPA? I'd rather have double the teens (maybe then some would know some of the songs) without their parents like it used to be. 🤷‍♂️

You're probably right. I just wondered about COPPA because they rarely do just teens or just kids anymore. Lately, if the younger ages are represented, they're either with their parents or it's a mixed generation episode.
