this album is actually art. it's a shame that most of these reactors had no idea and were too hung up on their personal opinions of ariana to understand and acknowledge how much she's been through. a rollercoaster of a year comes with a rollercoaster of emotions. she pours herself into her music, which is why the messages sometimes seem to be all over the place. let the girl live. let her express her emotions in a way that she knows how.

That's what the music video is about but if you listen to the lyrics it is really just focused on how she likes the guy and wants him to break up with his girlfriend. Tbh it could work the other way around too, she likes the girl and wants her boyfriend to break up with her. They switched the meaning around with the music video and I think that was cool. ♥️👌
