If we weren't specifically talking about 2000's movies, I would say it depends on which Casino Royale you meant. Because the '68 version was an incoherent fiasco. And as hard as it might be to believe, yes, the '68 Casino Royale was an officially licensed Bond movie.

It kind of does defy physics, since they wouldn't be able to completely submerge the boat like that with just their arms. They'd need about a ton of weights to keep the boat from floating to the surface.
