I am a BIG TIME cryer, and I am not ashamed of it. My children, my family, my students, my friends, etc., all know I cry - I am too empathetic, I suppose. Kudos to Jayse, Jack, and Travis, for being in touch, with their emotions, enough to let us witness their vulnerability, through tears.

To put that scene from Miracle on 34th Street, into perspective, The movie came out two years after the end of world war two and the Dutch girl in the movie, a lot of people were displaced, so may not have celebrated Christmas those intervening years, and so was shocked to see Santa and one that speaks her language.

Those scenes from Love Actually and Home Alone weren't the ones that could make me cry. With Love actually, Emma Thompsons character finding out that her husband is cheating on her and then playing down emotions so not to worry her kids made me cry and with Home Alone, the scene where the neighbour is reunited with his granddaughter was more emotional to me. Also, with the last one. As a Dutch person, they messed that up. Sinterklaas is not the Dutch version of Santa Clause (though there similarities I give them that), but it's celebrated at the 5th of december. We do have the Kerstman (Christmas man is the literal translation) and we do have some Christmas songs. I get why they did it, but if she would've been a real Dutch girl, she would've known this was the Kerstman and not Sinterklaas

Recently I watched a monologe about how men still, as soon as they cry or say "can you hold me, I'm sad" are seen as "weak" and that the only emotions that are "acceptable" are joy, lust and anger. As a woman I'm telling every man: You are not weak or less manly or less attraktive, If you show all your emotions. Showing and dealing with them is relieving and makes you stronger not weaker :)

I cried so much that when I went to school the next day, people thought I was sick. My eyes must have still been puffy. I normally cry at the drop of a hat, but for some reason, these clips really didn’t do it. What got me was seeing Jayse tear-up, especially on that last movie. I always thought that in "Scrooged" they should have changed the ending so that he would end up at the funeral expecting it to be him only to realize it was his brother's funeral. And that he was still alive but so caught up in his vanity and pride that showing up would be beneath him.

If THAT scene in the '90s remake of Miracle On 34th Street was shown, I feel like almost EVERYBODY in this video would've cried (I say almost 'cause Darius was a tough nut to crack). If you've seen the movie, then you know what I'm talking about. Oh, don't get me wrong, the scene in the original was a very sweet moment (and the original movie itself is a true classic), but I don't think it'd make a lot of folks cry. The '90s version, now THAT'D do it. Remember when FBE had some mall Santas (including Melvin from Elders React) watch some scenes involving mall Santas like them, and they were shown that scene in the remake? I recall one or two of the gentlemen starting to get a bit emotional. It's a very beautiful scene, and Richard Attenborough was right about his performance as Santa in that film.

When it pointed to Eliot’s chest and said, “I’ll be right here,” I was bawling.
