The reason Kevin didn’t call the police in the first movie was the phone lines were down for the first part, then he recognised Harry as the Cop who came to the house The reason he didn’t call them in the second movie was because the hotel and police were looking for him for credit card fraud
@mlpfanboy1701 Жыл бұрын
He also didnt call them from his phone in the first one because he stole from the super market getting away from the neighbor he thought was a serial killer. And he knew if he did call the police even if they didnt arrest him they would take him away from the house.

i think the room service price is perfectly reasonable considering the hotel he was in. yes he just got a lot of desserts, but at a 5-star Manhatten hotel like that, the prices for things like room service/ minibar snacks is astronomical.

Home Alone follows a franchise rule that I have came up with myself “The first two are the best, ignore the rest.” That also goes for franchises like The Godfather, Alien, and Terminator. This is just my opinion, your opinion about these franchises are valid.
@justinbryan62493 жыл бұрын
The third one is still pretty good too, even if it is with different characters. Keep in mind that Home Alone 3 was released in 1997, five years after the second one. By that time Kevin was a teenager and could be left home alone. They couldn't keep using the same characters all the time (except for the fourth one, where it's some of the main characters from the first 2 films being played by completely different actors).
