They were pretty clear he wants to stick around specifically for megumi and for that sakuna needs to be around. Not to mention the deal he made with itadori is worthless if itadori dies. The other fingers dont matter if they arent inside a host he can bargain with.

Just so you know, choso is still a baby just like his brothers. He's never had real combat, this battle with yuji was his first real one, that was why he wasn't fully aware of his abilities and its limitations. Yet, he still rag-dolled yuji, if he had more experience, it wouldn't have been a close fight in any ramification...

You kinda missed some things choso is young in the way of him just receiving his body. And he never had a fight or knew his weaknesses. But hes actually 150 + years old and was self aware as a cursed tomb so he spent 150 years mastering Blood Manipulation and has a endless amount of blood because of his cursed energy. He is actually better than the og Norotoshi Kamo this fight really showed how good he is at using his ct in different ways but also don't forget choso almost killed himself to stop Yuji. If Yuji had more experience on cursed energy or even another arm this fight would've turned out different.

Actually, Sukuna did not do anything. He does not care about Yuji as many of his fingers are still safe elsewhere through which he can incarnate. He was actually surprised when Choso got that fake memory thing.

The most popular theory was that Yuji had a CT that gave people false memories because of what happened with Todo.

A little detail that people might miss, Choso's blood is highly poisonous. We know this because the 2 brothers also has poisonous blood, and the older one is stronger sp considering Choso is the oldest its safe to say he's the strongest. But we also know that since Yuji is able to consume a sukuna finger which are deadly poisonous, he's basically immune to poison. So my point is, if its anyone else other than Yuji those wounds choso inflicted would have already kill them just from the passive effects of the poisonous blood alone. They're also not human blood remember, back in season 1 curse wombs are made by making a human ingest the little embrio thingy so they're half human half curse and completely visible to regular people.

I think it's just you know Yuji can't die here, so something has to happen to prevent that in the plot, so makes more of a tendency for people to think some intervention maybe possible from another entity and Sukuna was the only entity that seemed around. Hence why people could go towards that thought at least in the moment. Like Sukuna just doing something to interfere (like in the case with Mahito in S1), but it's not that he was trying to help him, but still did something for a moment on his own discretion. People also expect him to come out at some point in this arc, we seen him in the trailer. I'm explaining why the thought, not saying it's right.

About Choso's Blood Manipulation, Choso's Body is special given that he is an incarnated Special-Grade Death Painting, so any fatal problems for a human don't really concern him. But also he's pretty much immune to the Blood Manipulations biggest drawback of lack of blood and blood loss because he can actually convert his cursed energy into blood.

I was so moved with how well they adapted Yuji Vs Choso. I saw some people in the anime community thinking this fight would be an absolute wash and that Choso wasn't anything special. Glad they got to see my boy in action this week. He put in that work. Had it not been for Mechamaru's quick thinking, Yuji would've been in trouble. In fact, even with some of his bigger moves unusable thanks to the water, Choso STILL managed to achieve the W. Not just that, people seem to think Sukuna is ready to defend Yuji at all times. But we see in this episode, he was just disappointed in how Yuji lost to an opponent Sukuna personally deemed weak. And was prepared to go back to vibing until he saw Choso freak out. Sukuna is not Yuji's ally. He is not his friend. And he is not some trump card to save the day either. After all, even if he loses Yuji, he still has several fingers that exist in the world. The two girls Geto saved have approached the unconscious Yuji. And Choso has been greeted with a memory of something that never happened. Yuji, sitting at a table and feeding him while calling him brother. How bizarre.

Sukuna closed his eyes after being disappointed that his host was defeated by choso, and then reopened them due to him being surprised at what's happening. So i don't think sukuna had any part in the false memories nor has it being shown that sukuna has such abilities

Sakuna had nothing to do with the memories. He is just basically evil incarnate. You don’t want Sakuna out of the box. Choso felt something that he felt when Kechizu and Eze died when he was about to kill Yuji which caused the memories.

This Episode was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I literally watch this episode over at least 3 times since and the ending was confusing but I'm trying to use my Batman detective skills a little, could be so far of it's a shame but you never know, it's just a theory but what if Yuji transferred to Choso and was confused in entering his body. Hear me out LOL😂🤣 the way Choso reacted and how the transition look as if he was looking at Choso body standing still, then like the Iris of an eye and he was completely confused where these memories came from, also Sukuna seem like he didnt care and seem to go back to sleep then eyes reopen like he was saying...Hmmm interesting, I actually don't think he was involved in assisting Yuji.... also in the opening song there is a part where Yuji is holding his head like he is confused, the opening song seems to have alot of spoilers, only later on which is a good thing realize Toji is actually in it. I could be actually dead wrong but it's just a theory don't beat me please fam...🤣🤣🤣, if I'm wrong you could always say that, if I'm right you could say guy in comment actually said that hahaha🤣😅😅. In S1 when I initially saw Kamo's blood technique, while its cool but in terms of potential its very limited and something I'd consider weak in my opinion Especially after the Hidden Inventory arc, showing us that Jujutsu sorcerors drop like flies in their line of work an ability that uses blood is hardly viable But Choso being able suck back the blood shows its true potential Though its unfair to compare Choso to Kamo since the former is Death painting womb (half curse/half human thing) while the latter is a human teen Also cant imagine the infections having different blood types mix could cause thats one way to use it lol
