(Or Drive all Night/South of Knowing Why) Do you like the rockier, more modern country or more slow, ballad type songs? Also would be interesting if you hadn't heard it already, trying a blind cover of "Untouchable," and see if your cover is closer to the original band "Luna Halo" version of it or Taylor's cover.

@@DerrikRockne You should give yourself a fighting chance by getting the chord pattern and tempo too. When Taylor writes to track she begins with that. So then you could come up with your melody and then compare it to Taylor's melody. Pick a song, any song from Taylor's canon that you haven't heard yet.

@@DerrikRockne yes, Aaron said that she actually wrote tis the damn season when she arrived for the first day of rehearsal for the folklore long pond, they played all night and drank a lot of wine and he thought that she went to bed. But the next morning at 9 am or something, she showed up and was like, "I have to sing you this song," and she had written it in the middle of the night. He said that was definitely another moment where his brain exploded, because she sang it to his kitchen and it was just surreal.
