Always enjoy your videos! Could you do a video on how to defend yourself as a boomkin? How do you typically use the defensive cooldowns, when do you change into bear form, how do you use ironfur well, what do you typically use on M+ and raiding, how do you survive when you know a huge amount of damage is coming, etc.

The change to our Mastery and the swapping of Kindling/Shrapnel seem both pretty targeted at the 2nd to last boss of the raid that got tested yesterday. Both those changes would be relevant for that fight, and that is making me think Fryakk might have a similar type of add spawning where we would also get the value.

They should hire people like you as consultants because often when they make boomy changes they sound like no-one at Blizz knows how to play the spec!

I hope they replace Nature's Grace with the new 10.2 2 set after 10.2 ends. Definitely room for positive changes to the boomkin talent tree and the mastery rework is genuinely HUGE. But would love to see changes to the talent tree that didn't feel super lateral and actually allowed build diversity

I think the kindling/shrapnel change applies in pvp too bc we like to starfall there a lot even on one person bc it creates starbursts and keeps running no matter what else we're doing (and if you run oneth's, you can more likely proc free starsurges). So in that case, damage is better because we will still reapply our dots a lot anyway bc people remove them and bc we will spam them to build astral power (and do a bit of damage) while, again, kiting. Honestly, they probably just need a separate pvp talent tree for all classes. It would be a bit of work but both groups have very different views of what is needed and useful.

Yeah noticed it's much easier to Eclipse now but my druid only lvl 26, a lot of nice forms but would be nice to see more class specific weapon affixes or that change with Spec like for Guardian druid should have wep with chance on hit to Proc Ironfur and same for Blood DK for bone shield or even Mages can do side quest line to turn fire damage into Shadow Flame. I'm sure it's alot for them to think about though and manage. I'd like to see what next expansions like wonder since Sylvannas back will be a hero class.

Hey Naguura! Seeing quite a drop in overall dps with the suggested builds on Wowhead that Tettles has put on and his builds seem incorrect to me. Would you share your initial build for M+ (and again consider being the Wowhead expert, as I don't trust that Tettles has much focus as you do these days!!)

Orbital strike is in a weird spot because pve players newer use it in its current utteration, but for pvp it is crucial for boomies. Changing it is like nerfing the spec in half, i personally play both forms of content and would prefer it to stay, because otherwise, i wouldn't even be able to play both anymore, pulsar sucks though

the correct answer to the Kindling-shrapnel question was to add another pathway from Umbral intensity to where shrapnel currently is AND to power of Goldrinn, giving you the practical ability to take the talents as needed or skip them. You know, like other classes tend to get? Druid class tree just makes me so mad I dont even care about the spec. Not being able to go from top left to bottom right or the inverse is just such trash. Idk why nobody on the dev team seems to understand that making us waste a ton of talents to get any capstone is not a great build. Oh and they should really work on the nomenclature. Shrapnel is a misused term in the English lexicon. In reality its related to a specific shell created by Dr Henry Shrapnel for the British Military in the 1840s, it was an anti-personnel device created by filling a shell with lots of musket balls so that each shell fired a shotgun-like effect covering a large area in many projectiles. An upgraded form of the Napoleonic era grapeshot canister. I dont think this lunar ability does anything like that, nor is fired by a canon. Unless Druids are hiding something from everyone.

Im playing without shrapnel and the high tier m+ balance droods i looked at also didnt play shrapnel. But Naguura says, you always take shrapnel. Why so?

@@Naguura ​ Hi Naguura, it seems like my comment keeps getting automatically removed so I try to write it without links to WCL now. If you filter WCL then you see depending on the dungeon that 70-75% of Druids play shrapnel. Since i can't post you the link to the logs apparently, here are the names i found after a quick look: Emalis, Cznfik, Cosmiccs, Preyxd, Tarisant The players i named above timed 29s and 28s. Therefore my questions was, why you said ,that I as boomie always want to take shrapnel? Thanks in Advance :)

Stupid ass change for orbital strike just because of PVP. A million different way to make it better than just reversing it. Simplest one just making a different CDR node that is unrelated to OS.

I actually hate blizzard man pissed me off that they reversed the orbital strike change and was able to also take pulsar it felt so good in pve and just cuz the small community of pvp players cried and bitch and now we just get fucked over lol im getting so tired of blizzard and their ideas

Especially weird on a problem that would be easily fixed with another seperate talent making it incarn 2minutes. Then PvE can continue to ignore that part and PVP can take it and/or the lazer, whatever they want

They fixed it with mastery and you can choose to play orbital in pve as well if you like it that much you boosted ape. Pvp is way more important than your +10keys

Also it was a choice note with shroomes, so you could never play orbital and shroomes, which is a horrible idea
