Suho is terrific. He’s always pushed the other members to the front to perform at his expense, even when giving speeches at awards shows. He insists that the others say something. When Kai just recently went into the military, Suho really showed how much he cares for his members. It is tradition for Korean dads to come with their sons when they’re getting their military cuts, and actually cut the son’s hair. Well, Kai’s father had passed away a few years ago, so Suho surprised him by showing up to cut Kai’s hair. 😢. It was so touching. Suho held the members and EXO Ls together during their turbulent first years as three of the four Chinese members left the group. The first one left the day before they were to go on stage at an awards ceremony. So they had to do some last minute arrangements to fill the void. Then, when they were announced as the winners, he went on stage to accept the trophy by himself, because the others were too upset by the situation. Suho even had to sing parts of the award winning song by himself! He always comes through. He is currently in a musical “Mozart” and his voice is phenomenal! One reactor commented that he has one of the most mature, solid, and stable voices of the group.

@@_11197 it must have been 2012 or 2013, right after Chris left. One awards show looks like another to me, so I really don’t know which one. I know all the groups come on stage at the end of the ceremony and after the award is given. And the winning group performs their song. I’d guess Melon or MMA(?). That’s when only Suho came out to represent EXO.

Suho is one of the best leaders in K-Pop. EXO went through a lot of difficult circumstances, as Suho was always at the forefront receiving criticism and attacks. Despite this, he was always smiling and pretending that everything was fine. Suho is EXO’s protector. Indeed, he is the source of safety for the members and fans always and forever.

Suho is a very good leader. Out of all the leaders in Kpop groups Suho was the only one I have seen to promote the whole Kpop industry to other countries other than just his group EXO. And gave credit to older Kpop groups before EXO for the recognition of Kpop in the world. Such a cool and admirable guy. 👌❤️

One of the main reasons why Suho was a trainee for 7 years was because he originally started out training to be a member of SM's legendary second-generation group, SHINee. However, right before SHINee was to debut in 2008, Suho injured his knee and he couldn't train for their debut showcase, so SM decided to debut SHINee without him. He ended up having to wait 4 more years before he debuted as the leader of EXO. But, by all accounts, this worked out for the best because he became the leader, and as the other EXO members say, he was born to be a leader. If he had stayed a member of SHINee he never would have become a leader, because Onew -- who is the leader of SHINee -- is 2 years older than Suho, and at the time of SHINee's debut it was pretty much a given that the oldest member would automatically be the leader. However, 4 years later when EXO debuted, the rules within the industry had kind of changed and it was no longer a hard and fast rule that the oldest would be the leader. Case in point, Xiumin is the oldest EXO member and, yet, Suho became the leader. Being a trainee for 7 years isn't that uncommon. If you start to really look into it, you will find a lot of Idols who have trained for a very long time before they debuted. However, it all depends on how talented someone is or how much experience they have had before becoming a trainee as to how long they train. Some idols only train for a few weeks or a few months, whereas others could take years and they may be on the verge of giving up when the company finally decides they are ready to debut. And some trainees may never debut and end up leaving the company or industry. Unfortunately, just because you are a trainee doesn't guarantee you will debut. A lot of it is pure talent and luck combined with sheer dedication. The clip where you saw Suho pouring the colored sand was a joke they were doing showing the different percentages of things that made up Suho's personality. Just a pinch of yellow professionalism and blue coolness, and a little bit of orange good looks, whoops, he accidently spilled the whole thing so now he is extremely good looking. They are all the parts that make up his personality. They were having fun and joking around about how "perfect" Suho is. The part where you saw Suho in the red dress was a special stage that he and several SM artists did for an SMTown concert in 2014, where they did a parody of the song and choreography for "Something" by the girl group Girl's Day, and not only was Suho involved, but Minho from SHINee, Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Changmin (Max) from TVXQ also dressed up as girls as part of that performance, kzbin.info/www/bejne/kICvZYydd5Jpias. (They are all part of an idol friend group called the Kyu line.) You will see male idols dressed like women all the time in Kpop performances. The majority of male idols have dressed like a woman at least once in their career. It's just a standard part of Kpop culture. Crossdressing is something they commonly do to be funny or to show off just how pretty a male idol really is, etc.

Suho's "Starry Night" really gave me hope in my tough time during university. His personality itself is something to admire. Although the guide didn't mention it enough but the members actually really do enjoy his humor. They always say that non of them would've made it that far if not for Suho's strength to handle the group in tough situations. His jokes had honestly still lifted up their spirit during those times even they they're corny. Sadly due to time management the guide couldn't show his serious side as a leader. Suho seems like a whole different person when he's on stage handling the issues of the group like when he's talking with staffs or others about the preparations of their activities. He also always like to learn new things related to arts, music and acting. I don't know who said it maybe one of the members but they said that if Suho wants to, he can even become president cause that's how much talented and determined he is to learn which explains his training process as he didn't feel dejected about his leg injury that prevented him from debuting with SHINee, something he had worked for 3 years. However chose to study instead and continued training until he finally debuted after 4 more years.

Suho's music and words have single handedly pulled me out of my darkest times. This man means the world to me. He has turned me into a confident and secure person. On 14th he won 2 awards for his acting in AAA, his speech there made me cry so bad. He is so sincere, I thrive to be sincere and kind hearted like him. 2024 we will see his 3rd solo album and his first solo concert. P.S: Sehun is enlisting on Dec 21st. Our last military enlistment.

Junmy loves art & Van Gogh. We can see the influence in his albums & the album artwork. Like the other EXO members, his solo music style has its own color. After returning from his military service, Suho released a solo album Grey Suit (beautiful songs). He also worked in Mozart (the musical) and a drama series on Netflix - both were successful. Currently, he's working on his next solo album (writing songs as well) and another drama. He is a learner at heart. He's learning to play guitar; English language to pursue international projects & communicate with international audiences/fans; and about wine as he's a wine lover. As a person, Suho's like a social butterfly and is seen encouraging & socializing with other groups across the generations. I especially love his thoughtfulness & eloquence. We recently witnessed that at his AAA Award speech.

SUHO - “DINNER” is such an under appreciated gem, very unique song and SUHO wrote the lyrics. I became a fan of his after this particular song. Also, even though some members left the group, EXO is still a big group, and they stayed together for more than a decade now. I feel like it’s a lot to do with SUHO. Many members of other groups blamed their leaders for being strict, harsh criticism etc, but you never hear a bad word about EXO’s leader and the group always strays to perfection.

This is why I only stanned EXO since 2012. They’re the only group who never really cared about rankings, numbers, charts. They don’t push it to go higher either, they just do what they do best: making unique, timeless, awesome music. Organic hits. And they’re the only group who cares enough to acknowledge other groups too. In my decades of being a kpop fan, I’ve never seen such group, as well as how perfect each members are with each other, and Suho is really living up as a leader. Of course I’m all biased, but even other fandoms can’t help but recognize EXO.

To add, they even tell fans not to buy their albums or only 1 album per person, and to instead buy yummy food, warm clothes in winter, and use it for their studies. It takes courage for groups to act outside an idol image, because specially the newer and less popular groups, they need more fans. EXO doesn’t care even if they only have 1 fan, they’ll still perform. The length they go for their fans are heart warming.

When I first got into Exo, like you I was more blown away by D.O. in vocals and Chanyeol in rap. After that I noticed the main vocal line however once I really started to listen to their songs deeply and eventually even come across these guides I realized that Suho and Xiumin are so laid-back members and really deserves much more spotlight. Once I discovered Suho, I just couldn't ignore him from there onwards. Now I could safely place Suho right behind D.O. when it comes to my preferrred vocal tones. Suho can definitely go high just like Chen and Baekhyun but something about his voice is so soothing and calm especially with that classical effect in his tone because of his musical experience that its hard to resist him. His vocal techniques seems quite healthy. Like him, Xiumin can also go really high but he usually keep his range mid which makes his voice sound really lovely.

Ohhh, I'm so happy you liked my fave ♥ If you like rock, you should listen to Suho's albums, especially Grey Suit. The title song Grey Suit is heavily influenced by progressive rock. Hurdle is also amazing, but it has a kinda pop rock sound I guess (maybe brit-pop)? I don't know, I'm not good describing music, but yeah! Ifyou want some soft rock, Suho is the way to go!

The reason Suho cried in the concert is I believe Chen anounced his marriage after it. Well such kind of an issue means a death sentence to a boy band so he felt that maybe this would be the last chance to talk to the whole Exo-l. Instead blaming Chen he decided to confess his anxieties to the public. So every time I see that scene, my eyes also start to get watery. I like Suho's solos the most, the beautiful, clear, blurry water-imaged rock numbers. Please review them all.
