I relate to you sooo much! BTOB's music is 100% not the type of music I search out normally. I really don't know what is it about their songs, I just can't stop listening to them. There is something about them that go beyond music genre and taste, just pure perfection. They are my ult and only ult actively. Same here,, i knew kpop since 2009 but just as a casual listener bcs i'm a kdrama enthusiast. But since early 2023 jeongwaja pop up on my YT algorithm, i kinda knew changsub is an idol but never knew he is BTOB's. On episode 3, he need to sing as part of the class assignment. Since that moment i'm in awe listening to his voice. And that was the beginning of my journey as a Melody. Until now BTOB is my ultimate group 🥰.

Yes! BTOB is 7 ❤️ So happy you said that. Ilhoon was my bias, and I have so many amazing memories with them from the start. My most precious is being there at M Countdown when they won with "Remember that". This group will always be in my heart, so just loved hearing you say that. They were doing an awesome job in Kingdom btw so no wonder you got interested. Now I will continue watching. It's been a while since I listened to their old stuff, so I'm excited. Agree about the dancing too. Bless BTOB's existence - with their loud, exuberant personalities and soul. Their energy is unmatched and overall just the best kinds of people, like how can you not like them?! Speaking in terms of music, BTOB knows exactly where their strengths lie. Vocals for sure, dancing, rapping, producing their own music etc. Yes but rather, it's actually their *clear, distinctive colour* that separates them from the rest of the other groups. When a BTOB song comes on - you just know "Oh this is such a BTOB type of song". They perform on a more personal level - less factory produced and more genuine. It is difficult to explain but they truly are one of a kind. I also absolutely agree. Melodies are confident BTOB will go on to last a long time. Another 10years let's go! Be it that the remaining members keep their 'incidents' in check, they will stay together and last together for a very long time. They are all very passionate about their music. Some people start off as idols to be an actor/actress, or just a 연예인 (celebrity) but I know that *creating and putting out good music is at the fore-font of this group's identity.* And this for sure included Ilhoon too... sigh. I really hope he's doing okay. I must say, the most recent comeback made me realise just HOW much of a presence he was to the group. BTOB songs are missing his light and articulated rap. His crisp and buoyant rap style. Overall, I hope they do what they always have done and never ever change, BTOB. Let's go bright and far. Potato lemonade XD

A few mins in and Im already emotional because u already said beforehand that u will not leave Ilhoon out 🥺 Thank you for loving all 7 of them 🥺 What you said about BTOB’s music, like ALL of it, I can TOTALLY relate. I was never into kpop, I was only into western music, but there’s really something about BTOB that caught my attention. I never thought I’d love a kpop group THIS MUCH. I love each of them EQUALLY and I totally agree that every single one of them contributed to what BTOB is now, like Ilhoon is not even my bias but I cried A LOT because of what happened to him. I felt so bad that I missed streaming this live! 😭 It would’ve been fun jamming with BTOB’s songs with others who also appreciate & love their discography. But, omg I can’t believe this is a 4-hour long vid. I SURVIVED!!! Whew! Anyhow, I’ve got a lot of things I wanted to add/comment while listening to your commentary but I just can’t keep up. It just boils down to I AGREE TO EVERYTHING YOU SAID! Their music is timeless, they’re icons & non-conformists. As long as they’re not stepping on anyone’s toes, they just DON’T CARE! What matters to them is their music & their growth as musicians and their love for Melody. They put so much effort to always be true to their Selves while passionately striving to be better in their craft. These guys are already excellent in what they do but they still do vocal lessons, learn to play an instrument and, study producing/writing music. For me, indeed, they have surpassed the category of an idol. They should be the standard of an idol. However, I think at present the idol industry is more dance-focused rather than on vocals and lyrics (message of the song). But, rarely would you find a group who have the guts to cover a BTOB song and nail it. I mean they would “nail it” but it doesn’t really get to me as much as BTOB’s version. Gotta end it here coz I’ve said so much but, thank you again and I’m loving your reaction especially on Minhyuk’s and Peniel’s part.

Great to see the progress of someone getting into their music & see their changes Also I think that’s just BTOB magic, I love ballads to start off with so it wasn’t apparent for me, but PD from Form of Therapy also said they are usually not a ballad lover but they are hard BTOB stan ;) I just love the diversity we got from their songs & solo tracks, stanning one group and we got it all

I'm totally agree with your comment about eunkwang and hyunsik. To me, eunkwang is the one who can make me fall in love. His voice is beautiful, he is funny, he is very warm and loveable, his warm smile 😍😍😍. On the contrary, hyunsik is the one who can give me a heart attack. Potato lemonade 😋 lol. Did I just watch 4hrs of BtoB content??? Yessir! These guys transcend kpop. I heard from Koreans that in Korea, they are not considered kpop idols which is one of the highest compliments (as kpop idols are seen as mediocre in talent and vocals). And honestly, they're the only group that I feel makes 'music'. Don't know how else to explain it. I had become soo bored of almost all 4th gen groups because they all sound the same, same style (hype music, hype choreo), and it was boring. Then I discovered BtoB and my faith in music in the kpop scene was restored. This is the standard. Periodt 👏🏾👏🏾
