A while back, there was a scam talent agency that had us do self-tape, and I remember being so happy when they texted back and said that they liked what I did, only to realize it was a scam. Ever since I tried reading a script, I’ve been hooked on becoming a real actor, and I’m trying to do as much research as possible! Your channel has helped so much and I just want to thank you 🥰❤️ !! Though I’m afraid I’m too old to begin acting as a 13 year old, and of what could happen if I poured my life fully into acting and ended up financially struggling, so I’m still trying to decide if I really want to be an actor. A tip to other people who have struggles with noises. I would say try to project your voice so yours can possible go over the noise or go to a different quiet place. Projecting means basically speaking louder. Theater kids sometimes do this based on distance of the audience so their voice can still be heard.

#1. I know Odd Squad, have a few friends who got their start on it and would definitely give you a callback. The energy and delivery fit perfect with the atmosphere of the show. #2. Knowing the circumstances I would've absolutely given you a callback to see what you could really do free from the extenuating circumstances. Unfortunately, from the casting director's perspective, not knowing what we watching this do, I wouldn't be able to justify a callback for that tape as a standalone piece of work. #3. 1- Yes. I believe you did great, loved your energy. Maybe I wouldn’t cast you just based on this one, but would give you a callback for sure. 2- No. Only because of the audio and because you didn’t have so much energy. It makes sense knowing the background story of this self tape, but if I had just watched it randomly like a casting director, I wouldn’t even finish watching it. 3- Yes. It’s my favorite audition from the three you showed us. I have no comments, it was just incredible. I wanted to leave a side note for one thing you said about when not booking something maybe being sad, angry etc. But then when you book, other people would be like it. Long story short, I’ve been taking acting classes for 3 years now and every time I would audition I would either not get a callback or get very small roles. I’m taking about things locally, not big projects like yours. The only chances I had to get a lead were from homemade projects that I did with friends for fun. And I always felt like that, angry and asking “why didn’t I book this?”. However, I can happily say that I’ve finally booked my first lead role! I am so happy for this and I kinda of manifested it like you, but I am so happy and now it’s so clear for me why I hadn’t booked anything before. :)

“For us actors there are just roles that we want so so bad but it’s just not our time, it’s not the right thing for us” Brooo. I do acting for theater and live performances. I’m still a young teenager and my friends and family always tell me how talented I am, so when I always get cast as background characters it really brings my confidence down. I just auditioned a few weeks ago for Peter Pan A Musical Adventure and I wanted Peter or Mrs.Darling. What you said about this just helped me because I get so worried about my roles. Acting on stage and in film is what I want to do but even though I’m so young, I worry that I won’t ever get cast as a big role or get into college for this is all that’s on my resume is supporting roles. 1st one I’d say no bc of the lack of confidence (although I can tell you’re a lot more confident now) 2nd one I’d say no just bc of the noise, but if the noise wasn’t there I’d offer you a call back 3rd one I felt like needed more energy to make it more comedic. Also even tho you looked old enough to drive in that audition, I know a lot of times casting directors choose actors who look substantially older to play younger characters for some weird reason, so maybe they thought you looked to young. Also please don’t take this as hate, that was not my intention, I just wanted to give my opinion since you asked for ours. Im not a casting director lol so don’t take my comment to heart. 1. No because I couldn’t really feel the emotion, and because of that I couldn’t really tell what was happening or the storyline. So because of the lack of energy and emotion probably no. BUT to be fair, you were so young. You rocked that audition for such a young age. 2. I have auditioned for a few movies in the past 2 years but only ever got one call back . I live in Ireland where they don't do as much filming here as other countries but I do audition when anything comes up. I hope to be an actress one day and ur videos really help thx
