I’m moved beyond words, forget the mainstream music that churn out song after song with the same old cliches and lyrics this young artist is so special For a live performance this is what the essence of the art of music should be all about,to be writing songs like this at the age of 9 is more than unbelievable it’s staggering it’s a masterpiece.Aurora you are a Genius ❤️🍎❤️🍎❤️

Beautiful reaction, Samantha! Can you imagine that she wrote this at the age of 9 ?? I surely can't. Love from Norway :-) BTW; maybe do the full Nidarosdomen concert once? Quite a few reactors have done that already, and they've all been totally swept off their feet. The whole concert is just beyond words to describe. OH, btw. Now you know where the best vocalists come from... Angelina. Aurora. Kalandra. Sissel Kyrkjebø. Sigrid. Astrid S. Susanne Sundfør. The list goes on. Then we have the male vocalists. But that's for another day. I'll just briefly mention A-HA's Morten Harket. And maybe Kurt Nilsen and Sivert Høyem. Lol

I love the way you pronounce Aurora's name. You have no need to worry. It's your language; it's beautiful. Thank you for staying true to who you are. Aurora has quickly become one of my favorite singers with her clear and clean beautiful voice. Your face gives your reaction as much as ours do when we listen to her. I think it will remain that way until we have listened to her enough that we just expect it to be that way always. I have listened to some of her more upbeat or pop type songs. They are just as good, quality wise but I prefer to listen to these more ethereal songs that really showcase her vocals. Ebony is adorable and I love your gentleness with her. Thank you for what you do. I have a beautiful 24 yr old granddaughter named Samantha Nadine.

There are myths and legends that have been around at least as long as humans have that describe the creation of the world through song. For me, that's what Aurora is tapping into. Something ancient that resonates within us all. I've never heard anyone else do what she does. I think we all desperately need to reconnect to the world, and to each other, and Aurora is the expression of that.

Liked your reaction very much. Also love Aurora music and emotions she gives (at last for me) in this incredible performance (and in may others). Whole Nidarosdomen concert is great (like 1h of magic). Also good news is that she has so many great songs. I would recommend to check next f.e.: - 'Runaway' and/or 'Murder Song' from Nobel Prize Concert - 'All Is soft inside' and/or 'Churchyard' live from KEXP 2018

Aurora is so unique absolutely my fav since 2016 when I found her, you have to take into account I'm a 69 year old musician granpa and basically a R&R R&B person with a classical training, but I had never seen or heard anyone like her ever and I'm so grateful because above of all, she is an incredibly beautiful human being adorable! and so insanely cute Get a hold of any of her music videos live performances and interviews and you'll see what I mean trust me. She justg released her last album, on Jan21, check it out

Hi there Samantha. If you ask me, it will not get better than this. This performance is the best recorded ever. I really like your reaction and your feelings, had hoped for a tear or two but you can not get everything ;-). Your words are enough. Very humble that you are unsure of the pronunciation of Aurora and Nidarosdomen. But you nailed it especially Nidarosdomen. It is probably the most beautiful pronunciation of it to date. It is because of this song that she is forever my soul healer. I subscribe you for your travel through Auroras realm. See you soon........and you have such a adorable daughter

Aurora's Anti-Suicid-Song Written at just 9 years old. If you're about to take your life, remember the people you've met in life that you're leaving behind. Remember that there were also good times. Those times have passed. And just as the good times have passed, so will the bad ones passed. Nothing is eternal. You just have to persevere, take one step at a time and sometimes it's a success to just get through the day. But at some point it will go up, then it will seem to you as if you see the light at the end of the tunnel. The first time in a long time and then you will be lucky that you are alive. The last sentence sounds/looks so devastating because the path has not yet been complete (Aurora looks into the void). The person is still on the road to recovery. And not everyone recognizes this, because you don't walk around with joy and a smile in your face but you can still feel good.

9:46 Yep pretty much that. I can't wait until you get to know her personality from documentaries like "Aurora Haik" (Other reactors have uploaded it in full without issues so far because it's from Norway I suppose) The full version spends a day with her while being driven around her home town of Bergen Norway. Then it merges into a concert in the middle of a forest. Which fits very well, because she is very much a naturalist and a pure soul this world has needed for a long time. She has broken down even the hardest of shells that someone like myself have held for decades. Something no other artist has been able to do. And has brought peace to the minds of many who need it. And you will find many others feel the same.

I adore your reactions 🥰 is so fun to relive the magic of hearing each song as you hear them for the first time. This is my favorite concert recorded so far. I got to see her in Chicago in May. I was so stressed from driving around the city and when she came onstage I left for another world. I was in a dream. Thanks to my sister for making it happen. We hugged and cried during runaway. It was so special. I recommend the official vid of Queendom. Also a series of variations of Warrior. Enjoy!!

Welcome to the reinvention of pure, natural singing. Less technique, more heart, more soul= more quality. I really love listening to very complex, progressive music, since I'm a musician myself. But when I want to experience really deep emotions, it's her - and only her. Should you explore more of her and develop a liking for nordic influenced music, I highly recommend to check out Eivør (falling free, I tokuni, trodlabundin) and for the sake of us boys, Einar Selvik (there is a song by Wardruna, called Helvegen, that features Aurora). Keep on exploring, there is so much to discover. Stay healthy, stay true, stay human! Greetings from Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany

Sometimes words aren't needed. It's all over your face. :) Here's a suggestion for another Norwegian prodigy that is way underappreciated: Susanne Sundfor. Some good songs are Undercover, White Foxes, Sounds of War , Reincarnation. So many more. She is amazing live, but her studio albums have a level of detail and layering of instruments that MUST be listened to with headphones to appreciate. I recommend checking out both. Thanks for the great reactions!

Honestly, I recognize what Aurora has is part of my personality. Yet, I have more than that. I am an Empath and a mystic, but I can not sing -- people that have heard me sing, have asked me not to. But I appreciate those that can sing beyond others, and I see things others can't.

Well, since you asked, I'll tell you where you've been (and by 'you' I mean us all). The music industry in American and Britain has spent 5 billion dollars over the past couple years purchasing old catalogues (Dylan, The Police, etc.). That is because the revenue is no longer generated by CD sales, but by streaming. And, it's much less risky to put an old song on than a new one. Old material now covers 97% of the streaming services and new material accounts for 8 of the top 200 hits on the charts. Effectively, we are witnessing the demise of a cultural power base via commercial expediency. Even the few new artists that they support are fulfilling a recognizable slot of something LIKE something else and are probably overproduced, meaning the newly supported artist is mostly a clone of what came before it. What this means is that we are increasingly having to reach across borders in order to find the new and interesting, not because the new and interesting doesn't exist in our own countries, but because they are not supported AT ALL, in our own countries.
