I searched up ‘Stan Lee anyone can be Spider-Man.’ And Stan literally said in a video that Spidey can be any race. And the fact that Spider-Man is all covered up means he can be imagined as anybody. Miles has his own supporting characters, additional powers and unique suits. And the dynamic between Peter and Miles is also pretty good too when done right.

But not everyone would accept the responsibility of being a hero or accept the burden that comes with creating or having that symbol granted to them. Maybe they’d abuse the power and symbol given to them. But the heroes we look up chose to use their powers in acts of selflessness. But it is true anyone can be a hero and embody the symbol of one if they’re willing to accept the responsibility and not abuse their power(s).

As someone who prefers Peter, second favorite superhero after The Flash, I don’t understand how people can hate Miles. It’s very possible to like both. They are both Spider-Men and are both great Spider-Men.

It's because miles doesn't bring anything interesting to the table. The only constant aspect of his character across the comics,movies, and games is to get out of the shadow of peter. His character has existed for a a little over a decade and still suffers from this character trait, not to mention he started out a basically a peter parker race swap.

Well, I mean both ben and Kaine are clones of peter, Miguel is Spider-Man 2099 not The Spider-Man while Gwen is either Spider-Gwen or Ghost-Spider . All are derived from Spider-Man but all have names that are different enough.

There's only one marvel character I can think of that is a legitimate token (and I don't mean that in a derogatory sense) and that would be Tike Alicar/Anarchist. I could be mistaken but I think he was created to just be the black mutant of static x. And if anyone doesn't know who Anarchist is, he's a mutant with one of the dumbest superpowers ever. The only ‘reason’ why these goobers cope about miles and not any other Spider-Man that I’ve seen is that they are afraid that Peter ‘will be replaced’ even though that will not happen. The thing about the first comment is simple, Miles isn't Spider-man, The same way Miguel Isn't Spider-Man, he's Spider-man 2099, that's who he is. Miles Morales isn't "Spider-man" he's "Miles Morales Spider-man" the Same way Ben Reilly, is Ben Reilly Spider-Man. The "Is Miles Spider-Man?"
