This song was co written with Mike Einziger founder of Incubus. they met at Pointfest Festival last year in St Louis and became friends. last night in Japan BAND-MAID were special guests of Incubus and Mike Einziger performed the song Bestie with the Maids for a world live premiere during their opening act.

This is such a well-written earworm! It was stuck in my head for a week after it was released. Now it's gonna be stuck for another week (at least)! Not complaining though, it's Band-Maid 😉 Kanami's ponytail makes me very happy. She's even adorable-er than I thought possible 🥰

What a fcken band Po, since tumbling across these amazing Rock Goddesses years ago, not a day has gone by without the Maids. I would praise the Gods of Rock for this incredible band but I know once they heard and saw B-M they retired knowing their work was done 👍🍻

It has 90s vibe to it. It still has Bandmaid flavour but structurally it doesn't have the characteristic drop/bridge. I liked the live version. For the first live performance it was awesome.

The Maids have a new album dropping in the summer. I think we will get the date of the release on May 12 when they do the annual Day Of Maid event where they put on a special show and make future announcements. also I expect a collab with The Warning as they are doing a special show with BAND-MAID on June 12 in Japan during the Warning Japan tour. cheers

when you start a story from the chapter 10 is hard to get the context of the full adventure, for me bestie is a great love letter song from them to themselves , the lyrics represent their friendship and what they feel for each other based on what they sayed on interviews

The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song. Miku, Saiki and Mikey-chan's English lyrics are heartfelt. "I can't look into your eyes."
