KBL1NKDEUKIE yeah because other YG artists got into vehicle related accidents. From the business side it makes sense. If they can’t drive they can’t wreck. From a freedom side of things of course they should have a driver’s license even if they are not allowed to drive under contract.

I don't think the rule is permanent for all YGE artists. Dara was shown on a TV show driving her Land Rover last year. G Dragon drives and has been shown driving several times. (It was only Daesung and Seungri who had accidents several years ago.) As for BP, I haven't heard them say recently that they can't drive. (If you've heard something very recent (officially from YG, not just fans repeating the same story from years ago) then it's a different story.) Also AFAIK, it was a couple of years ago that the BP members mentioned not being allowed to drive. The ban makes sense for the trainees and youngest, freshly debuted artists. Winner's Mino (back in 2017) mentioned that there generally is a ban, but YG idols can drive if they get permission from Yang Hyun Suk. He also said that traveling is also banned the same as driving, but is also possible with permission. So it seems likely (at least possible) that the ban no longer applies to some idols when they reach a certain age and/or get permission. Because Jisoo and Jennie are the oldest members they would more likely be allowed to drive sooner than Lisa and Rose. I don't think the company would publicly announce anything due to privacy concerns. (Plus Jisoo's and Jennie's families are in Korea, so it would be pretty easy for them to get driver's licenses, drive the family car, etc. with support from their family.)
