Dont forget buying up real estate from private owners then gauging rent prices and running slum lord properties that you have to harass them to fix anything that breaks like a sewer mainline back up that spews raw sewage into your sink tub and toilets if you dare run water and let's it stay like that for 5 days before finally sending a plumber ( yes personal experience I'm biased they are dog shit) so grateful not to have them as slumlords anymore

I’d say that’s true for 99.5% of Wall Street But if you actually talked to the few people at the top it’s pretty clear that they enjoy what they’re doing You have to work 70+ hour weeks regardless to be at the top of anything and that’s the platform that they’ve chosen. For most people, I’d agree that isn’t the case

@@JukaDominator They're playing a zero sum game, concentrating ownership of existing business and properties to drive up prices and reap the benefits. It's a staple of these firms really, they have no intention of managing/creating businesses because that limits the profit/employee ratio. Their model is focused on amassing wealth and ownership to take money from poor people and pass it to shareholders while taking a slice.

I'm Canadian so I've never heard of Blackstone (if you mentioned them in one of your past videos, sorry I forgot) so I decided to google them and y'know, I sure am glad they decided to put up this video because before this, I never knew about their: illegal child labor, direct contribution to the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest, and major contributions to making what was an already bad situation (the 2007-2008 financial crisis) worse. Now I do. Thanks Blackstone!!
