Dont forget buying up real estate from private owners then gauging rent prices and running slum lord properties that you have to harass them to fix anything that breaks like a sewer mainline back up that spews raw sewage into your sink tub and toilets if you dare run water and let's it stay like that for 5 days before finally sending a plumber ( yes personal experience I'm biased they are dog shit) so grateful not to have them as slumlords anymore

It's a staple of these firms really, they have no intention of managing/creating businesses because that limits the profit/employee ratio. Their model is focused on amassing wealth and ownership to take money from poor people and pass it to shareholders while taking a slice.

I’d say that’s true for 99.5% of Wall Street But if you actually talked to the few people at the top it’s pretty clear that they enjoy what they’re doing You have to work 70+ hour weeks regardless to be at the top of anything and that’s the platform that they’ve chosen. I'm Canadian so I've never heard of Blackstone (if you mentioned them in one of your past videos, sorry I forgot) so I decided to google them and y'know, I sure am glad they decided to put up this video because before this, I never knew about their: illegal child labor, direct contribution to the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest, and major contributions to making what was an already bad situation (the 2007-2008 financial crisis) worse. Now I do. Thanks Blackstone!!
