Rania, which was also later called BP Rania, was a group founded in 2011. By 2020 they had rebranded to Blackswan, but the only remaining members were Hyeme, who joined in 2015, and Youngheun and Larissa (Leia) who joined in 2019. By the rebranding they also brought in Judy and Fatou, and after Tonight Hyeme left the group due to her contract not being renewed.

Blackswan started with 5 members as you've seen, but one (Hyeme) left. And the company is making a selection to place a new member, and there are 4 finalists competing for a spot. Blackswan just turned 1 year old.

I think the name of the GROUP (BLACKSWAN) is linked to their sense of being a differentiator. Like the STORY OF THE UGLY DUCKLING who became a BEAUTIFUL SWAN!!! THE GROUP HAS CULTURAL DIVERSITY BUT THEY ARE ONE, they prove to be best friends! THEY PASS IN THEIR HARMONY AND THERE WILL BE THE POSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER MEMBER TO ENTER AND IT IS VERY LIKELY THAT IT WILL NOT BE Korean, SO THEY WILL RETURN TO THE TOTAL OF 5 ORIGINAL TRAINING MEMBERS IN 2020! UNION AND GOOD MUSIC FOR ME, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT! LET'S SUPPORT BLACKSWAN!!! ELES PASSAM NA SUA HARMONIA E HAVERÁ A POSSIBILIDADE DE OUTRO MEMBRO ENTRAR E É MUITO PROVÁVEL QUE NÃO SEJA COReano, POR ISSO RETORNARÃO AO TOTAL DE 5 MEMBROS DE FORMAÇÃO ORIGINAL EM 2020! A UNIÃO E A BOA MÚSICA PARA MIM, ISSO É O MAIS IMPORTANTE! VAMOS APOIAR BLACKSWAN !!!

Still don't get why people say the kpop industry is based off of black culture? Just like any other music industry, their job is to adapt to what's popular. Right now, trap/hip-hop haves been dominating the music industry and the charts. Once upon a time rock music was dominating the charts, then Pop music started dominating the charts, then EDM etc. etc. And if you've been listening to K-pop for a while, you can see the change and you can notice the influence pop-culture haves on K-pop. There was a time sexy concepts dominated K-pop. Now, girl-crush is dominating. And if tomorrow Country music stars to get popular, the K-pop industry WILL adapt and release country music. That's just how it is,man. But by all means, toot your own horn just maybe do a little more research before doing so.

That guy seems kind of negative like he seems to be trying to compare them to much to other artist not to mention saying anyone is like azelia banks is an insult. Fatou would wash azelia in just english alone not even bringing all the other languages she speaks into it. And I understand if you guys just can’t vibe to a song without assuming it’s a copy of some other group then you probably shouldn’t be listening to it. It seems like you guys were just really nice nasty, hiding nasty thoughts behind. A false sense of positivity waiting for something negative to be able to say without receiving backlash from the fan base

@@ekg891 hey im from South Africa, Chinese people being assigned black has nothing to do with their complexion, Chinese people have diverse ethnic groups. They were assigned black because they worked in mines and were disadvantaged. Japanese and Koreans were considered white and yet not all Japanese people are pale/light, some Japanese people are pretty tan, more than Chinese. Anyway POC is assigned to anyone who is non-white.....from my knowledge and observations

I remember when I met Honda in 2010 world cup, I was like why does he look like a coloured ou🙈...yes complexion applied a lot in apartheid but I don't think that was the case with the East Asians (I think it was mostly to do with socio-economic status)...the Japanese and Koreans that came to South Africa were/are well off, not looking at the recent immigrants
