I think V was a real challenge to the other MCs that were with him 😂 ... he is so energetic and unpredictable ... Kookie also different , much more expansive and cheerful... Jimin seems a bit shy sometimes, and RM, Hobi and Jin can tell they're enjoying themselves on stage ... Tae is still hilarious.. he's just not as maybe as bold as he was before.. but that man is still funny asfV is still funny - dry humor at its best, if you ask me! he's more grownup now so his delivery is more "mature", polished and cool but trust me (and ARMY) he is still funny and his personality has never changed and Jungkook was also shy before and quiet and now he has become this confident man and The bold. Also, every member has something that has changed, and this is normal. Only people who don't know the members well don't know that.

V said he would lock his younger self in a cupboard and not let him out till he grew up. That he had too much energy. In the begining until they all really meshed RM particulary found V hard. He was only 18 and took his responsibility as leader very seriously (he found it overwhelming because he always strives to do a good job). Someone mentioned in passing that occassionally when he was trying to sort out serious logistical arrangements in long meetings he would get frustrated and get Jimin to take V out of the meeting. As time went on he grew to have a special appreciation for V. His ability to be outgoing and instantly comfortable around new prople and make friends. He also said hes an ideal front man like Kurt Cobain. I took that to mean he had alot of natural charisma.

@SetAPiecee I think it has more to do with loss: his grandmother, his grandfather, a friend unalived himself, he was at the funeral of Jonghyun... His loss and the cruelty of antis made him change/grief. He is more settled now and some of the old him is coming back - only more mature.

Tae has talked about it himself, he's very aware that he was extroverted and hyper back in the days, but now he said that he's matured and calmed down a lot, which he is happy about. Now, he would much rather not talk and rather observe situations, and stay at home. He also said that if he had the opportunity to meet the young version of himself, he'd lock himself up somewhere 😂

Tae still gets spurts of energy nowadays but he hasn't been the same extra EXTRA since his grandma and the burn out, also getting older made him way mature than back then same with hobi and Jin, they aren't the same EXTRA extra, just sprinkles every now and then, ok Jin might get super extra sometimes but it's more of breaking the ice with new people or making a mood lighter between the guys but still not like the younger years

We still see some of the old V, Run BTS, VLive. I have often thought he conformed to what Big Hit wanted him to be, I could be wrong. It is hard for me to figure out which one is the “real V.” They each have personas that are figuring out which one is real. So he knows that jk is more profitable so he switched to jk a bit....he can't control V so he desperately ignores him....and jimin is not showing his face not bcoz of V.....didn't u watch his last live before military....he was sooo miserable ...he really didn't want to go....he didn't want to show army his shaved head....he said himself that he didn't want army to see him like that.....he is an insecure boy.....he doesn't want army to see him without make-up and with shaved head......but tae was very positive about military from the beginning...he dun care how he looks, he even chose the harder route, with much more training and still manages to be happy and positive, he works and trains hard and enjoys his days off with friends.....be inspired by him......always be positive no matter what, always overcome obstacles with a smile on ur face.....work hard and play hard.....✌💜
