Suga had to have surgery for his shoulder and missed all the end of the year shows. He could not believe they "replaced" him with a snowman lol. Happy Holidays.

Suga literally got hit by a car when he was delivery driver before BTS debuted. He never told anyone what happened because he was afraid he would be kicked out of the company. So he just dealt with it with exercises and cortisone shots. Finally after consulting numerous doctors they agreed it would be best to have surgery and he was out for around 3 months. One of the few good things that came out of the pandemic is Suga taking care of myself because I know it would've disappointed him if he had to miss tour dates due the surgery/recovery.

I'm so glad he seems to be doing so much better now, he dealt with the pain for so long. I remembered him talking about it during a vlive he'd have to hold the mic in the opposite hand if he was having a bad shoulder day and the cortisone shots happened more & more to deal with it. He was reluctant to get the surgery because it's such a serious drastic step to take and he knew he'd be out of commission for months doing rehabilitation. But luckily he responded really well to treatment and he seems so much happier now.

omg idk if it's just me but their voices in black swan here are on another level i think that's the clearest i've heard them sing this song they sound incredible!! also in this performance (and all their 2020 end of year award show performances) yoongi wasn't there because that was after he had his shoulder surgery but they always included him in the performances in some way and brought a mini yoongi photo with them whenever they did anything 🥺 and he was watching the award shows with us also waiting for bts to come and posting on weverse, here he was like "i became a snowman now!?? 🥲" it's so precious 😂💜

As hard as it was for us and them to not have him there, it was so funny to see him going through all the Army struggles of waiting for BTS to appear. He was on Weverse commenting live for a lot of the appearances, complaing about having wait for them to show up 😂

I just love their performance in 2019 SBS Gayo. It's both sweet and adorable; and so BTS too. Has been included in my Christmas playlist. Then there was their chaotic selves in that Run. They can be very silly, love them for it. 🤗💜 Anyhow, Happy Holidays Austin! 🎉🍾💜 P.S. ARMY knows that from time to time, Yoongi can pull up his aegyo side. Love him with Tae. I had never seen the Run Holiday version before, so thanks for reacting to that one. There is another Run video with the guys filming in a hotel room with the Mnet man-- sounds crazy and it is.🤣😂 I'm sure you will find it on your Bangtan journey if you haven't already! Also, yes to a Tae jazz album! I'm getting more curious about his solo project and what it will sound like. He seems to have a diverse music taste so it could really be anything. But he sounds great with that old school crooner style.

As other commenters have said Suga had surgery in Nov 2020 that was pretty invasive so he was out the whole holiday season. I think when you watch the next few episodes of Burn the Stage docu series is when he talks about the initial injury when he was a trainee. Then he just dealt with the pain for YEARS. Apparently the surgeons told him they found multiple tears when they went in to fix it, which considering the initial injury occurred years before is telling. After he recovered though that man has been a MENACE. It's like he leveled up. I'm thinking he's just so much happier being pain free. It was amazing to see. Oh also, you should definitely check out the behind the scenes episode for the SBS Gayo if you get a chance. It is HILARIOUS. Poor Namjoon caused a whole train wreck and it was so funny. Bless his heart 😂

47:04 okay the HUGE difference in how jungkook looked during the “run” Christmas video and these performances here sent me 🥵 how could I forget this gorgeous manbun sending army into a meltdown… every time jungkook wore a manbun broke the internet lol it’s crazy how he was like the only one with really long hair in like 2019 lotte family concert - like 2021….
