I Know i remember how i watch the trailer i was like okay and i came by in the date of the release i was like omg and i keep coming back back then my parent separate I was living in another country with my father and their decide that its time for me to move to the US to live with my mom i was so depressing and it was my first year in high school with no friend new language and new family all i do was watching videos and now I'm in university getting my bachelor in less than a year. Today i was playing the concert BTS begin I feel old.

Info: they didn’t start to write their own songs overtime.... They always did, since the beginning. And talking about on their music what was considered taboo for idols to talk. They had nothing, a small agency, and still had the courage and fierce to risk it by talking about depression, anxiety, school system, etc. this was never their agency, it was always their wish

Or just as a hip hop group with dance choreography and everything that their still label as a kpop group since beginning of debut . Just wondering since kpop is known for experimenting with many styles and genres .

@@Goldjade14 BigHit started to put BTS together in 2010, with RM as the first member. The group 'BTS' was supposed to be an actual hip hop group. At that time, there were different members to who we know now (however, the rapline were part of the original line up). BigHit changed their minds later on to make it a kpop group, so many of the original members left, although the rapline we know today stayed. They then added the vocalists/more dancers, and debuted in 2013 as a kpop group. But the original hip hop flavour remained at the beginning, and started evolving continuously to what we have today (basically a bit of everything). So in summary, BTS was originally supposed to be a hip hop group with other members, but they never debuted. When it was changed to kpop group, half the members left and the vocal line we know today were added. They debuted in 2013.

JK was 13/14 when he joined BTS. He may have been 15yo for this MV. JK is a sub rapper. Originally the group was hip hop so all of them rapped more. They were all trained to rap except for RM and Suga. (Kind of crying because Army has mentioned this in the past but I guess you guys don't remember). Nice reaction. Love this song. So catchy. They've been involved in their own music since day 1, particularly the rapline, and RM especially. In fact, RM was actually responsible for quite a few of their concepts, like Love Yourself. The vocal line got involved in the creative side slightly later on, some earlier than others. Also, if you check their full albums in order, you'll see their progression/evolution. But one thing in common in every album is that for each one, there will always be (many) meaningful songs. Starting with No More Dream, a song which is very relatable for Koreans.

They were actually put together as a hip hop group.. That is why most of their earlier songs have hip hop vibes.. I actually miss them with this style (knowing im not a fan of hip hop omg but i liked them with this) but i definitely love them more and more by the day Regardless of what genre they try.. That was such a funny video video to watch, definitely lifted my spirits:) and its crazy to see how much they've changed, when I first started watching BTS I thought they were so cool in this MV and watching it now its like "omg they're so small?" lol. The lyrics to this video are actually some of my favorite, talking about how you shouldn't do something you don't want to do just because your parents or who ever wants you to do it, it's so motivating and such a bop. They have always been about writing music that heals others and being very involved in the writing and producing process. Loved the video!! Can't wait for more :)

Just one correction, Tae and Hobi were never supposed to be anything else. Hobi was only going to be a dancer at first, but then he learned rapping from Namjoon and Yoongi and he was already a rapper by the time Tae came. Theyve been writing and producing their songs from they one (rap line first), it was an agreement between Mr.Bang and them that they will write/produce their own music since the beginning. They started out as a hiphop group but later on into a pop group or combination of hiphop and many genres. And JK is a subrapper and is also amazing in rapping, its just that on later songs he was focused more on singing. But he can rap amazing til now, u can watch the 2019 Ddaeng Festa for one of his latest live rapping, He is called Golden Maknae for a reason coz hes amazing in everything, as RM said the only thing hes not good at are the things he hasnt tried yet.

BTS worked on their music since the beginning. Rm and Suga are credited on No More Dream. I don't know if you remember but its because of their hiphop underground rapper background. So they had a bit effect on the music since then but you are right with the time the contribution of the members increased including the vocalists. And they all matured so their just normally grew with them. BTS' music always reflects BTS' feelings. When u see it like that everything starts to make sense ;))

I've always liked their old videos. That was a good idea to go back to where they've started. You should watch their dance practice to their old songs after watching the mv.
