23:47 I think one of the most interesting contrasts about caitlyn and vi is in their character designs, particularly in their faces. It adds to their opposites attract trope. Vi's facial structure is more soft and round despite her character being exactly the opposite while caits features are very sharp even though she's soft and caring. it's a really cool design choice they made for them that really just enhances their dynamic even more especially in the close up scene from 1x06.

One of the writers of arcane said that she knows what happend between vi and caitlyn after the bed scene and said that they intentionally did not show it, then said she can’t reveal anything else because she doesn’t want to spoil season 2. This probably means that we could see what happened in a flashback or something next season. Also if you compare the shots of caitlyn’s face from the bed scene to vi’s flash memory of her, they are different, implying there was more to this scene. I doubt it was something major that happened between them for it not to be shown in that moment, but there still could have been more bonding or romance that we did not see

You two are so cute together, congratulations once again! Each reaction to all the Cait and Vi scenes was so precious. It would be very nice to see both of them galivant together on screen, and to maybe perhaps see them actually get together and share a kiss or two. I agree that one of the reasons I love Luz and Amity together was because it wasn't just your usual one kiss, paired up with the fact that we got to see multiple ones, which made their relationship that much sweeter to see as it developed over the course of the show. I suppose we can only hope something similar happens with Caitlyn and Vi, but in the meantime, the scenes we did get were beautiful in their own way.

One of the things I love the most about the Cait / Vi dynamic is that they are fearless in complementary ways. Cait is fearless when it comes to defending her sense of right and wrong, but she is so bound to a sense of duty and upper class discipline that she completely buries her emotion and sexuality. She's so tightly wound; her entire image is built upon a need to be orderly and dignified to the point that it's difficult for her initially to not see class as a reflection of character. But underneath it she is genuinely one of the most giving and supportive characters in the entire show, with one of the kindest hearts. Vi gives her a way to express that gentler side of herself. And Vi is obviously a total badass and a bit of a hothead, who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. But she's lived far too long in a hard, cruel, cynical world and she's built up this performative shell around herself. She plays up her toughness because she's afraid of being emotionally vulnerable. Caring has hurt her far too often. So the look in her eyes when Cait gives her a soft touch or speaks about the dignity of the Zaunites, it's like she's overwhelmed with feelings of tender admiration and she can't believe Cait is real. It really makes their mutual attraction believable.

My thoughts on Caitlyn and Vi story at season 2. There going to be a war. I think they will become close but will break up when Vi will not allow Caitlyn to kill/arrest Jinx. Katie Leung, Caitlyn's VA, said that we going to see a different side of Caitlyn, she isn't going to be so kind as she was at season 1. From the creators notes fans find a phrase about Ambessa teaching Caitlyn a close combat. Which could mean that Ambessa will take mentorship over Caitlyn and teach her a Noxus way to deal with problems. At the end i think Caitlyn as a Sheriff will made a deal with the leader of Zaun, i think it's will be Sevika. In exchange for independence they together will get rid from the Noxus threat. Vi will have a drama with Vander/Warwick. Caitlyn will spare Jinx but Vi will become Enforcer to deal with the problems caused by her sister and fight with Caitlyn against other criminals. P.S Congratulations and happiness for you two. 🎉

I have a show recommendation, It’s called Mobile Suit Gundam Witch From Mercury. It’s an Anime, The English dub actor for the main protagonist is Jill Harris, aka Charlie from Hazbin Hotel. The show has a strong LGBTQ focus, fun characters, a cohesive and strong story, has this mix of light hearted moments and very dark moments, and some incredible action sequences. After the Owl House ended, I felt a need to find something to get me engaged and make me look forward to what the future has in store, that’s when Witch from Mercury caught my eye. As someone who isn’t even that big of an anime fan, I highly recommend this to you.

That they be realistic, true to the scene, and driven by real purpose and not some undefined plot device meant to either appease or just blindly include to no real purpose. In that same scene where Vi was dying with Caitlyn and was having her hallucinations about Powder (which at the time Caitlyn didn't know of), she said "I shouldn't have left you." When she said that, Caitlyn said it was okay, but I think there was a double meaning to that as well. One, because she saw Powder and was regretting again if not more about leaving her sister behind to be vulnerable in front of Silco, apologizing to that hallucination of her sister while also saying that to Caitlyn as well. It was a sentence for two people, except one was for a person that is no longer there (not in death, but the fact she was replaced by Jinx and Powder was gone).
