My guess is that the swirling of the wind and panels, when Caitlyn talks about her mother and Jinx, is reflective of how turbulent her emotions and mind become. Things like grief, shock, rage. And when it closes when she talks about Vi, it represents calm, tranquility. Whether she fully knows it or not, Vi is someone that represents safety to her and comfort now, as extensions of the affection/love she feels towards her. Then again i suck at psych evals so ignore me

1. Riot Games has total creative and financial control over Arcane, so Netflix couldn't cancel it even if they wanted to. If they tried, there's nothing stopping Riot from taking the entire series to a different platform. 2. The writers have said that they always planned for Arcane to be two seasons long. That's all the time they needed for the story they wanted to tell. 3. Riot has said they have similar projects to Arcane in production, but the stories they tell will be unrelated to Arcane's story.

I can see why this season took 3 years to animate, it's mind-blowing. You could pause at any frame of this show, and it looks like it should be shown at the Louvre. Especially the funeral scene for Caitlyn’s mother. Also, her going through the cycle of grief from that is so heartbreaking.

I'm pretty sure they were partway through making season 2 when they released season 1, so technically they spent longer than three years making this. It was six years between when production on season 1 started and when season 1 was released, so it would probably be more accurate to say that both seasons took a combined total of 9 years to make. 😊

@22:46 you're right! I remember two scenes in particular where Jynx is in a simalar or exactly the same composition. For sure in her hideout when she's talking to "Milo" about being worried/angry that Silco sees her as weak. And when she's stapling her leg together. She gets a lot of low and high angles to show how unbalanced her mind is, and you absolutely right about Cait going through her own version of that. The parallels are actually quite significant!

Release the intro analysis cut! Also, there is heavy symbolism in the scene where Vi and Jayce try to fire the hammer together. They both represent Piltover and Zaun and they've been polar opposites, yet they came together to operate the hammer to save everyone. And then their moment was stolen by Noxus forces coming in.

Many realize that Ambessa orchastrated the attack, but she only did it AFTER a decision was made not to use Hextech in the fight. Yes Arcane is back. Three years in the making and it was worth all the time spent. This episode didn’t hold back any punches with the stunning animation, gripping action, stellar performances. But of course first and foremost, giving us our sapphic angst in the rain, because why wouldn’t they give us that?! Mosco’s already on the edge of her seat in just episode one and I for one am not prepared for what this season has in store for us.

If you look at where the cracks are in the room during the scene where they decide to send in forces with no hex tech, the cracks are all away from the window. I think the rocket went through the window in an arc, and it made contact on the OTHER side of the room, which means it went over Mel and exploded where Victor was. Mel was furthest away from the damage.

You're right about League of Legends Mosco! It IS similar to Pokemon Unite, and I really hope Mel becomes a defender! There is an item in the game that looks like Mel's armor and when you use it it gives a shield to nearby allies! Man I hope that she has that kind of theme it's my favorite type of character to play!
