"This is not clear packaging". Awesome turn of phrase, DJ. I have been a huge Simi Fehoko fan ever since he used to wreak havoc for my Ducks when he was at Stanford. He and Justin seem to be pretty tight on the field and off. I always see them hangin around each other on the sideline or just just talking during practice. I would really love to see him take the Z spot. He is big, strong, great hands and can run after the catch. I think that this receiver group is going to surprise a lot of folks out there boo-hooing that Justin has no one to throw to. Justin throws to whomever is open. Yes, he leaned on Keenan on third downs especially, but that was because Keenan always got open (and was reliable in catching the dang ball). Yippee! It is *football* season!!

My theory is that the Chargers kept only 3 tight ends but 7 receivers because they'd rather have the TEs for blocking so they can flood the field with faster, more athletic WRs.

Great pod. Two of my favorite guys in football. Chargers are so dang lucky to have these two calling games. Great point by DJ concerning the TEs. I had 4 on my 53 (and I had 51 hits) because I felt like there was no way that a Harbaugh team would keep only 3 TEs as heavily as his scheme uses 12 and 13 personnel groups. I had not considered how Harbs will use 6+ linemen and Matlock or McFadden as TEs or FBs. I cannot wait to see what this team will look like when we finally get to see the "finished" product (knowing that with Hortiz, there is never a *finished* product). Go Bolts!

The thing about Easton Stick still around, besides being favored by remaining old regime of team's scouts, believe JHerb had a lot to do with Stick still his backup of voicing for him ( to Harbaugh and new GM Oritz ) to remain. Them 2 are like best friends if no one notice past 3 years, lol. But Holdovers from previous front office are always in the way of the new ones the new GM wants to bring in , or HC..

TJ isnt going anywhere they are playing the backend roster game since he is saftey 4 behind AJ finley its ok for him to be on the practice squad for awhile he can be called up 3 times before being put on active roster stick wont be here long he will end up on practice squad but tony jefferson isnt going anywhere same for brash this defense is actually looking pretty decent it is deeper than it has been last few years cus we have real coaches now we thought the linebacker postion wasnt gonna that good but bowman has all the linebackers playing good
