I know the media won't be hyping this up since they're trying to push a Jimmy trade narrative more, but the most likely trade destination for Vooch would most likely be Golden State. Heck, the warriors might even attach a 1st to that trade depending on the package...

The Bulls roster is currently stacked with players between 6'4" and 6'7", leading to potential mismatches, especially against the increasingly taller teams in the league. Their current small forward and power forward combinations often face size disadvantages. To address this, the Bulls should consider trading some of their shorter players to acquire taller and more physically imposing players. The acquisition of players like Buzelis is crucial for the Bulls, as he possesses the size and length to effectively play the small forward or stretch forward position. The team needs to prioritize acquiring more players with similar physical profiles - tall, lengthy, and capable of creating mismatches on both ends of the court."

the team use to be even shorter. AK was obsessed with guys who could play 2 guard. we had: white, lonzo, zach, alex, derozen, etc. now, he seems obsessed with forwards and we have matas, phillips, pwill, giddy, terry. the bulls need to trade for miles turner lonzo, Zach, Pwill, Matas & Turner would be a great modern team. it can chuck up 3's and block shots. adding the 6th pick in this draft but giving up zack, vuc, lonzo doesnt help this team at all IMHO

I’m ngl I don’t think that Coby trade was that crazy. Like look at the Bridges trade this summer he went to NY for like 6 first round picks (not saying Coby is better than Bridges). But still he’s much younger and on a cheaper deal so I think 2 first rounders is not out of the realm of plausibility.

Too many of you are emotionally attached to these players and you end up letting your emotions cloud your judgement instead of looking at things objectively. Stop overvaluing our players, it's just pure homerism. Most of these guys, if they played for a different team, you guys wouldn't give a shit about them and wouldn't want them in a trade, but since they play for your favorite team they're untouchable. Most teams in the league have guys like Coby and their meat head fans are saying the same things about their version of Coby, but when we're offered them we think "Nah, he's mid." Guess what? They think the same about Coby and our players. Coby is a streaky and inconsistent scorer who is somewhere between a great 6th man and a solid starter. It's his 6th year and he's still a poor defender, still not a true PG, and still inconsistent with his scoring. He'll never be an all-star or a guy you build around. He's a complementary piece. In an ideal situation he's the 4th scoring option as the first guy off the bench.

I don’t understand the attitude towards getting a 1st for Coby. It’s a gamble to give up a productive young player as talented as he is for the chance of getting a better young guy. In all likelihood, most of the picks in these trades wouldn’t be conveyed due to protections, or be so low in the draft that the odds of picking up a guy as talented as Coby would be low. Just my thoughts 🤷♂️

White is easily worth 2 or 3 first round picks. the odds of finding a 20 point a game scorer with a non top 5 are very very low. just go through previous drafts and randomly select 3 guys drafted picks 10-20. they will be trash. If i were the bulls i wouldnt even trade anyone. just keep running it back until you can rip a team off. there will always be some stupid team willing to trade kyrie irving for nothing or give donova mitchell away. tanking is stupid and it doesnt work. if anything, trade vuuc. try and get Miles Turner. you'd win 45 games with that type of team. but maybe the bulls have to salary dump.
@swaymcthunder12192 күн бұрын
You realize boston and OKC (amongst others) have built their teams through tanking/ rebuilding. The only real successful bulls teams we had were built through the draft and being bad teams (Jordan bulls and Rose team). Hold on to these guys too long, you end up with another demar situation. Trade deadline is usually when teams are more desperate, as seen with caruso last year and possibly getting 1sts. Instead we settled for giddey. Or you wait too long like zach to where no one wants him.
@shake63212 күн бұрын
@@swaymcthunder1219 OKC got shai in a trade. w/o him they'd still be awful. Boston tried to build a super team via the tank and draft picks. that didnt really work out. what worked out was realizing that its a "5 out + 3 and D league" and building a team around all players who can defend and shoot. thats what has put boston over the top. you dont need to tank in the NBA anymore. there are plenty of stupid teams that will give you their star players and super stars dont matter as much. its a 5 out + 3 and D league. you can find these players pretty much anywhere. you just have to have a GM thats committed to bringing in such players and not bringing in demar derozen and derrick jones jr. lol if you lose cuz you are bad thats one things. but trading away zach, vuc & ball just to lose on purpose, especially half way through the season where you still wont get a top 3 pick is just bad management. Trade vuc cuz he cant defend. Try and get Miles Turner (3 and D center) and just win some games and wait for a team to unload a super star. The league basically comes down to who can take the most 3's, stop the opponent from taking 3's and then has a rim protector who can deter dunks/layups. lonzo, Zach, Pwill, Matas & Turner would be a great modern team. it can chuck up 3's and block shots. adding the 6th pick in this draft but giving up zack, vuc, lonzo doesnt help this team at all IMHO

@shake6321 Indy isn't gonna trade Turner for vooch. You can let that pipe dream go... In terms of OKC, yea they didn't draft SGA but instead came from the PG13 trade. But they were still hitting the reset button and rebuilding with the trade. Similar to what bulls fans are asking for. He was still young, SGA developed into the guy he turned into in OKC. No one really expected SGA to become what he became. They still drafted dort, chet, and jalen. The team wouldn't be where they are without those guys too. And ya, Boston took some time. I understand they acquired guys like KP, jrue, and white from trades. But there 2 top guys, brown and Tatum came from when they were tanking. Also the KP and jrue trades involved guys they did draft when they were bad (Williams and smart) and an extra pick they acquired when they acquiring extra picks. Rockets are also building a solid team from tanking/ rebuilding. Green, sengun, Thompson, Smith, Whitmore all came from the draft. Once they got solid leadership, you are now seeing it all come together. The bulls last successful team came from a rebuilding process. Rose, Deng, Noah, Gibson, asik, Butler all came from the draft. We had some bad luck, but that doesn't mean that was a failure of a team. We had something special for awhile. You might be happy with play in teams, but most of us aren't anymore.
@shake6321Күн бұрын
@@swaymcthunder1219 "Indy isn't gonna trade Turner for vooch." Agred. I am hoping we can trade vuuc to another team and then use those assets plus some of our own to get turner. "In terms of OKC, yea they didn't draft SGA but instead came from the PG13 trade. But they were still hitting the reset button and rebuilding with the trade." I agree with you. what OKC did is optimal. but if we trade away zach and vuc this now, i doubt we get a top pick to start a rebuild. instead, we'll get another will and matas. we'll have to be awful again next year. but can we really be that awful? the issue is that giddy, pwill, white, ayo, matas and smith might win too many games to ever get the #1 pick to land wemby, flagg, paolo, cunningham, etc. Ideally, i'd love to land Turner and just hope Pwill, Giddy and Matas can take a leap to go along with a very good #3 or #2 like lavine. You still have with ball, ayo, phillips and smith off the bench. could that compete for a title? maybe. i'd love to try that than to get the #7 pick this year and then tank next year to get the #4 pick. but i'd love to hear you thoughts... maybe getting turner and having pwill turn into Jalen Brown is a pipe dream as you say.

@lilbfrom094princeton8Күн бұрын
@swaymcthunder1219 Because we have to come out of the east. Nobody trades their star player to contenders within the same conference. We just seen this with the Bucks… They let go of a key piece and haven’t been the same since. He ended up on the Celtics and they won that same year.
