a compilation of my reactions to transfer application results!!! these reaction videos got me through the application season so I thought it would be fun to make one of my own.
WOW this has been a crazy process...so glad that it's over and so excited with the outcome!
a quick reminder to anyone who is currently going through the american college admissions process: please don't get caught up in the prestige of a school! at the end of the day, college admissions are an opportunity rather than an achievement. even if you did not get into your "dream school," chances are there are other schools that will offer you similar resources. it is a privilege to go to college, and your own determination and drive are greater factors of your success than the marginally higher ranking of a school. the title of the school does not define you, YOU define you.

Lucky! I've always wanted to go to Barnard. I didn't know you had to take SAT subject tests to get in, though, so I couldn't apply. Maybe I'll transfer there if I'm able. Congrats!

I'm also transferring and honestly, the process was SUPER easy. They really only looked at my college grades and since my GPA in college is a 3.9, I got in everywhere

That's actually quite false for many schools, including some top-tier schools. For some it's easier or around the same (especially if you applied regular decision instead of ED).

I'm most likely transferring in fall of 2019. I'm definitely applying to Tufts, and I am thinking about applying to Barnard. Even though they're completely different, I saw some similarities between them. Obviously, one is coed and the other isn't, but I still seem them cross over in some areas. I'm not sure if you were considering Tufts, but if so, what made you choose Barnard over Tufts?
